Embark on a 2.0 hour nautical journey aboard a Sparkman and Stephens Sailing Yacht. In a small group setting, you’ll get to enjoy this classic 42 ft yacht which has a cozy seating limit of 6 passengers. It’s a wonderful opportunity to explore the waterways, barrier islands, and observe the marine life around Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina. Kindly be informed that from November 8, 2018, our Sunset Cruise will set sail at 3:00 pm. Guests for the Sunset Cruise are advised to be present at least 10 minutes in advance.
- Reservations are cancelled for any guests not on location at docks 10 minutes prior to departure time.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum age is 6 years

Your sailing charter departs from the Access Ramp at the end of Trails End Road, Wilmington, NC. Please arrive 15 minutes early and call when you are parked. Gratuity is optional but much appreciated on departure from the cruise.

Absolutely wonderful experience! - We had such a lovely sailing experience with captain Jim! We had perfect weather, watched a beautiful sunset, and we enjoyed getting to know the captain and his vast knowledge of the sea and sailing.
Added benefits were the complimentary waters, and the fact he has a bathroom on board if needed! Would recommend to anyone looking for a great simple sail with a well knowledgable and friendly captain!

Best sunset cruise near Wilmington NC - We have done a lot of sunset cruises but this was one of the most relaxing cruises we have had. Captain Jim was great. Fun cruise, Hall they recommend. You can take wine and appetizers on board as well Will do this cruise again next time we are in Wilmington

Amazing way to celebrate our anniversary - Wow! What an amazing experience! Captain Jim was wonderful and the time out on the beautiful waterway was a great way for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We might do another sail in the future but bring our girls as well next time.

Exceptional way to end the work week. - We had a wonderful experience on a Friday evening sunset tour with Shamrock Sailing and Capt Jim. He was so knowledgeable about the area and the habitat. I highly recommend.

Just do it, Captain Jim is the BEST! - We had a wonderful time on our sailing trip. Sailing has been on my bucket list and this did NOT disappoint! Captain Jim's love and passion for the area and SAILING was very evident. His excitement for sailing was contagious. I would 100% recommend this adventure, just DO IT! Thanks, Captain Jim, I would love to do this again sometime!!

Bold, but cold. - Awesome time out on the water w/ Captain Jim. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the subject matter. Just be sure to bring a jacket, but he'll have extra and blankets if you forget 😀.

Highly recommended - Absolutely lovely way to spend an early evening. We sailed though the inter-coastal and then out into the ocean. Jim was a fantastic host. Interesting, attentive and gregarious- perfect for his retirement gig!!
