- Cape Fear River - If you book on the odd hour, we head south under the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge to the State Ports and learn the history of a WWII Wilmington shipyard along with current facts while watching tug boats, container ships, and pleasure boats. Bring your camera along; there are photo ops in every direction!

Lunch break get away - Pleasant and very informative trip. You don't go too far up the river but it's worth seeing the city from a different perspective. The crew did a fine job explaining things; Patrick was way above average.

Enjoyed the tour, will definitely take more cruises. - Narrator was wonderful. They were able to get me on board easily even though I use a walker. Only problem, there were people on board who had no interest in the tour and talked loudly during the entire trip and I had a hard time hearing the narrator. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip otherwise. Boat was very clean and comfortable.

Good value - Our tour guide was great. The views were lovely. It is a great value for a relatively short, sweet tour. The weather was perfect in March.

Fun sunset tour - Be prepared. Cold or hot, rainy or dry. Eat and drink on shore. There is a toilet. But check yourself before you wreck yourself.
The sunset cruise is beautiful but anytime of the day on the boat on the water is a great experience and great energy. Enjoy yourself.

Awesome trip - I took the 19 year old guy with special needs that I assist. The crew was so accommodating and gave him extra attention. We loved learning about the history of the Cape Fear River and surrounding area.

Take the River Boat Tour! - Someone suggested we do the river boat tour on Cape Fear. Sure glad they did. It was a fabulous, informative trip south on the Cape Fear River. The river holds so much history. The tour guide Bob was fantastic! Then we enjoyed a full afternoon strolling downtown Wilmington and lunch at Annie Bonney’s.

Rainy day ride on the river - The day was a rainy one, but the ride up the river and the excellent commentary was not effected by the weather. Crew were very helpful to all aboard.
