- Cape Fear River - If you book on the odd hour, we head south under the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge to the State Ports and learn the history of a WWII Wilmington shipyard along with current facts while watching tug boats, container ships, and pleasure boats. Bring your camera along; there are photo ops in every direction!

Great first time experience! - The captains were very informative about current events and history; opened to questions & conversation; and friendly to everyone. Teamwork among the crew and safety concerns to visitors were noticeable. If you’re a person with small kids and want to have a good relaxing time, then this is for you. If you want something more romantic, then do a private tour. 😄

Well worth it - Needed to get out of the fishbowl of Charlotte, so took this in after coming east. Loved the history along just a small stretch of river. Especially the contrast between “old” and “new” downtown Wilmington.

Fun way to learn - Great group of people and very informative. The captain has such a great sense of humor. The eagles were fascinating. The cranes are very huge and I honestly had no idea what goes into loading and unloading a boat or bardge.

Great family trip - This was a first for my 6yr old son and be loved it. We learned a lot of the local history thanks to the captian. Great view of the north carolina battleship.

Came down for ours Son's graduation! - The whole trip was great! The Captains and staff on the boat were so great. I really enjoyed myself. Our Air BnB was perfect for us also! Was a great stay!.
