Highlights
  • Shete Boka National Park - We will then take you to several isolated bays where big breakers crash into the coral cliffs creating natural blowholes where the sea water and foam are sprayed through a chute into the air displaying colorful fountains and rainbows. If the waves are strong enough you can stand close and let the water sprinkles refresh you. Also exotic birds like herons, frigate birds and caracaras can be spotted here.

Boka Tabla: We will enjoy lunch and visit the Shete Boka National Park with its rugged and rocky formations where, if the sea allows us, we will visit Boka Tabla. This is where the sea and wind have worked together to create a cave in which the waves come crushing in, often giving a splendid show but sometimes flooding the cave completely;

Additional Information

Curacao’s people, nature, history and land has been formed by water, both by the sea and the availability of sweet water. The crystal blue sea of Curacao is not only home to colorful fish and wonderful coral formations, but on the North side of Curacao the wind forces the sea on the land with great force and by doing so it creates some spectacular water shows from natural blowholes and fountains.

Absolutely loved every... - Absolutely loved every minute of it. I learned so much about Curacao. The caves were fun, saw flamingos, both beaches were stunning, and the restaurant for lunch was good. I wish I remembered the tour guides name so I could shout him out by name. It was the perfect day, will definitely do again when I come back to the island.

Best tour on the island! - Great way to explore and learn about the island and her history. Ariel, our guide, did an amazing job and mixed in some humor to keep the tour relaxed and fun. 100% recommend!

A fun and fabulous tour - This excursion was the best I have ever taken. Our driver, Aerial, and side kick Smiley made this trip! They were personable, funny, helpful beyond normal and very knowledgeable. I stumbled once and from that point on Smiley was by my side at every turn. At one of our stops there was an area not scheduled on the tour so I asked if we might be able to see it. Aerial said he would make it happen and he did! The off road drive was very bumpy, my 18 year old granddaughter absolutely loved it. The route that we were on was deserted. Very few other tourists to contend with. We snorkeled with the sea turtles and had a very nice lunch atop a cliff overlooking the beautiful water where people jumping off he cliff. Then we took a quick stop to snorkel on a beach inhabited with pigs. I didn't believe it when I read about it but it's true. The pigs come lay in the surf. I am partial to pigs...I would book this tour again if ever in this port again.

A fun excursion! - Such a fun excursion off resort. It was a bumpy and windy ride but that added to the fun. Make sure to hold onto your hats and wear sunglasses! Ariel was amazing as our tour guide. He knew so many interesting facts about the island which was relevant to what we were doing on the excursion. Loved the outback side of the excursion and seeing where there was once ocean so long ago. We then stopped at Shete Boka to see the powerful ocean waves hitting the island from a wide observation point. Lastly, we went to a beach and got to swim with sea turtles. This part of the tour would be where it falls to only 4 stars because I am not a fan of giving turtles chum so that they would be close for tourists to swim near (pieces of dead fish that would float in the water or became scattered on the beach). There should have also been rules on the beach for people not to swim close to the turtles or try and touch them. There was water and a snack provided on tour which was nice but we also stopped at a restaurant at a different beach for lunch. Lunch wasn’t included, a little pricey but a great atmosphere and the food was really good as well!

Great end to our holiday!! - The guide Ariel was extremely fun, funny and energetic. We think there could be more snorkeling & swimming in the tour and less 'outback'. Lunch at Playa Forti was super delicious!!

Good Tour - Swimming with turtles was fun. The food stop was very yummy. Ariel was a great tour guide. Caves visited were not the Hato Caves.

Bait and switch ? - We had fun but felt misled. Our intimate small tour was with 20 total people whereas others from our hotel had 6-8. The guides were great-Ariel and Smiley and they did their best to make sure everyone understood and had fun. It’s just hard to do with such a big group. With the choppy water we missed out on the blowholes but did see the sea turtles. It was enjoyable but not what we had thought when booking.

the worst experience - I called ahead to confirm my pickup point, they never picked us up...I called to ask what had happened and the response was that I had made a mistake, that they could only return the money. They left me with a child waiting for the trip. Llame con anticipación para confirmar mi punto de recogida, nunca nos recogieron...llamé a preguntar que habia pasado y la respuesta fue que había cometido un error, que solo podía devolver el dinero. Me dejaron con un niño esperando por el viaje.
