We commence from Fort Amsterdam, journey past the renowned Queen Emma floating bridge and then proceed along the vibrant ‘Handelskade’. After traversing the Queen Wilhelmina bridge, your trolley train will advance towards Scharloo, an erstwhile residential district adorned with charming villas from the late 19th century. There will be a stop for a photo at Bolo di Batrei, also known as the wedding cake house, given it’s the most frequently captured structure in the city. Next, we pass by the Pietermaai Cathedral, the grandest and most significant ecclesiastical monument on the island. Then, we head towards Queen Wilhelmina Park. We will journey past the Waterfort Arches, a formidable fortress previously home to the Willhem III Barracks. The tour will conclude with a trip to Fort Amsterdam.
