A memorable real life Alaska experience - In September 2024 we were in port in Whittier, Alaska. The Phillips cruise terminal was right next door to the Holland America cruise ship. Great decision. We had originally booked the 4 hours cruise. They called us and said it was canceled but offered the 6 hours cruise. We had a 6+ hours memorable adventure. The Catamaran was brand new and very comfortable and only accommodated 150 guests which made it possible to be up close and personal with all those glaciers. Although the weather was cold and a little wet we were very comfortable and visibility from inside the vessel was excellent. The salmon chowder lunch was good. The Park Ranger aboard the boat was very knowledgeable. In additional to stopping at multiple glaciers we had an opportunity to see harbor seals, sea otters, stellar sea lions and eagles. This was an incredible excursion at a reasonable price, to be recommended to anyone who wants to have a real life Alaska experience.

10 out of 10 - The views of the glaciers and wildlife were incredible, but to top it off, the narration was super incitful and interesting

Great way to spend a day in Alaska - Truly great experience. They don't exaggerate when they guarantee you won't get seasick. It's an amazing boat tour, unbelievably beautiful nature, a lot of wildlife to see and magical glaciers.

Perfect way to see the glaciers - We took this tour which included the train ride from Anchorage as something to do before boarding our Princess Cruise. It was more spectacular than we imagined. From the luggage drop off at the train depot that took our bags straight to our cruise ship to the amazing views from the train as we made our way to Whittier and on the ship as it sailed out to the glaciers. We were able to get up very close to the glaciers and waterfalls with all the beautiful scenery surrounding us. The lunch was good and more than we expected. The crew was absolutely the friendliest and made the adventure more interesting and were more than willing to go out of their way to make it an enjoyable time.

We loved this tour, highly recommend - This was a great tour with lots of glaciers and wildlife to see, even though it rained on and off all afternoon. The boat was very comfortable and the sound was calm, and the food was delicious - we had the salmon chowder. We appreciated getting to spend time watching the glaciers as they were breaking a little and also the many seals, sea lions, and even bears.

Worth it, what a great tour - Had a great time with Phillips cruises on the 26-Glacier cruise. Booked this on embarkation day for our cruise so we literally got off the train and onto the glacier cruise and then got off the glacier cruise and got on the cruise ship. It was fun but hectic. I think if I were to do this again I would take some other form of transportation and get to Whittier early enough to check in to the cruise ship first, before the glacier tour, just so we didn't have to make the mad dash back to the cruise terminal to make the 6:30pm cutoff for getting checked in with Princess (as this tour gets back around 6:20pm it felt like it was cutting it a bit close). The tour itself was great, we spotted plenty of wildlife and the glaciers were of course awesome. The food was also really good and I actually preferred the vegetarian chili over the chowder. The snack/bar line moved pretty quick as well, the staff was extremely friendly and engaging, and they gave plenty of opportunities to go out on deck and enjoy the outdoors. My one complaint is that I wish they did a better job of pointing out the glaciers as you're coming up on them or passing them. I mean you're supposed to see 26 glaciers but they only announce a handful of them and you're supposed to look at your map, figure out where you are, and then try to figure out which glacier is which on your own most of the time. All-in-all it was a great day and well worth the cost of the trip.

alaska dream - I am 70 year old English man with my wife and I'm disabled , the crew were so accommodating to me and my wife, I cannot put into words the experience that we had , what we saw was totally down to the skipper and staff who are so knowledgeable of the nature and subjects . I cannot explain for me how emotionally it effected me , i cannot praise the staff enough , my son in law was on board who is a semi professional photographer with his partner took some incredible photos witch when we disembarked the crew were excited to see , this experience for me unbelievable and once again down to the crew .

Beautiful experience - At check-in you get assigned seats, too bad if you are not sitting by a window. Immediately after departure, lunch is distributed and is well catered for. Then we visit several glaciers where we stop very close and get enough time to take pictures. Along the way we encountered sea otters there was also a stop for that. Despite the rain, cold and wind it was an experience and so beautiful
