Memorable trip - We thoroughly enjoyed our glass bottom boat trip - Katie our skipper was interesting, knowledgeable and extremely competent. Was lovely to be able to see the positive effects the marine reserve has provided for the environment to flourish again. Highly recommend this trip

A must do. - Very friendly, knowledgeable crew. Amazing scenery. I would recommend any visitor to Whitianga to take a cruise on the flat bottom boat.

Not to be missed! - The boat crew were extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. The views you get from the boat is a sight to see, along with the marine life which you can view as a result from the boat having a glass bottom. Definitely not an experience to miss!

A MUST DO - We had their newest boat for our tour and we were lucky we did. We saw one of their other boats as we arrived back and their view from the side was greatly reduced from our boats. Aside from that…our captain was wonderful! The “guide” really didn’t have a lot of information to share but what she said was appreciated. The views were amazing and the time spent at each stop was perfect. The tour did not feel rushed in any way. The glass bottom boat was the 1st we have ever taken with clean, clear glass. I commented on this and the captain said it was cleaned daily, it likely helped that we were on their newest boat as well. They allowed people to stand in the middle of the glass on a small walk way to take pictures of fish with your camera right on the glass. No adults did this but we had a child about 9 years old who’s parents let her sit on it the majority of the time the bottom was open obstructing our views. It would have been nice if the crew had mentioned to please limit your time on the floor to allow others to view unobstructed. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I’d say a “Must Do”.

Glass bottom boat from Whitianga - Had a wonderful experience aboard the glass bottom boat with captain Mark and the wonderful Amelia. I loved the history of the place but most of all the scenery, the icing on the cake was when they raised the floor and we got to see all the amazing sea-life. Truely a magical experience for my family
