Didn't get the chance to see Aurora, but we got a pleasant guide. - We didn't get to see the Northern Lights because of the cloudy night. But our guide, Jelmer, was very nice and insightful. He was as hopeful for us to see the Aurora when he learned that we weren't going to stay long in Whitehorse, and he even let us wait for a few moments longer when there was a slight possibility for Lights to come out. During the waiting time, he also shared insightful guides and locations around Whitehorse for us to explore, so we did not feel like it was a total waste of money. It was my second experience joining an Aurora Tour, first time being in Tromso, Norway, where I also did not get the chance to see Aurora. In my honest opinion, the Aurora Tour Providers in Whitehorse could learn a thing or two from the Tromso ones, as it would be nice to explore the land more with the vehicle, rather than staying in one cabin for the night, so that people who do not get the chance to see Aurora (as we all aware it often happens) could at least get some exciting and memorable experience and might not feel too much money wasted. Although I understand that the landscape and the safety between Canada and Norway are different, it's just an input and could be a food for thought. Overall, the experience was definitely helped by the pleasant guide.

Great way to see the northern lights - The viewing center and staff were amazing. You have access to a place to warm up, beautiful teepees with a fire inside and lots of options to sit down and take in the light show (if you're lucky... We were, this time)

Great tour, super Aurora light show - Four of us went Feb 22, 2025 and it was a very well run tour. Our bus driver, English girl called Amy, I think, was so friendly and professional from the moment she arrived at the hotel to collect everyone. She was informative and gently stating that the Aurora was not a sure thing but a hope. We did see them in all their glory all the while enjoying hot drinks and cookies in the Yurt with all the tour guides being super friendly and attentive both inside and outside. Yes, you can purchase photos from the company but also all the guides were more than willing to take photos with everyone's phones ensuring the best photo of both the guest and the lights. Definitely would recommend this tour company. Thanks again

Magical Experience - More nights the better - We originally booked a viewing for one night but decided last minute to book 2 nights and we are so glad that we did! Morgan and Ishbel were extremely kind, humorous, knowledgeable and make the experience one of a kind. You feel that you’re out with friends and enjoying what nature has to offer. We were lucky enough to witness an incredible sighting the first night - the Aurora is magical. The second night we did not see much activity but enjoyed the hot cocoa, biscuits and a great presentation on bears - something Ishbel is fond of. They were clear with the instructions but the second night was a bit chaotic as a glimpse of the Northern Lights were visible as soon as we got off the bus. All the lights had to be turned off in order to view them and the tour guides headed towards the yurts to set up. Once the sighting was gone, people were wondering what to do - in the tour guides defense, their priority is to ensure we get as many sightings as possible so I understand why there was miscommunication when getting off the bus. Nonetheless, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this tour!

Aurora tour - Sadly didn't see the lights but the viewing area was really nice. Staff is on time and try to provide everything that they can. They also have activities like fire and presentation so even if you don't see the lights there are still things to do. I wish they have both native speaker and non native speaker guide present just because it was hard to understand the guide sometimes.

Close, But No Cigar - While we unfortunately didn't see the Aurora, the Arctic Day people did everything they could to give us a good experience: very friendly guides and hosts, warm rooms to wait in, and good advice on where and what to look for. We knew seeing the lights would be a crapshoot, and while it didn't work for us, Arctic Day did all they could to give us a good time.
