AMAZING EXCURSION - We are Seniors and this was our first time kayaking. From the moment our guide, Dylan, picked us up until he dropped us off, he was just wonderful as he was extremely personable, knowledgeable about the area and very patient. My husband and I were having difficulty kayaking and Dylan guided us never leaving us far behind. The tour was extremely organized, scenery was gorgeous and the catered lunch was fresh and delicious. Dylan brought a variety of snacks and plenty bottles of cold water for the group. DO NOT HESITATE In booking this fantastic tour. If I could rate it 10 stars, I would!

Fantastic tour of the Emerald Cave and the Colorado River - If you’re looking to do a kayak trip on the Colorado River, this is the company to go with. Our guide, Burton, was very personable and exceptionally knowledgeable about the area. He loves to answer questions, and made this experience relaxing and enjoyable. The van that picked us up was clean, and the company was very responsive to emails and phone calls. My mom has some dietary needs, and they were easily accommodated. I would absolutely go again will recommend this company to everyone.

A day with Evolution Expeditions - My wife and I are 70/69 years old and are healthy but my wife has a knee bending problem. The tour guide,Burton, observed my wife trying to get into the kayak and immediately went over to her to assist her into the boat. The pre trip instructions were hasty but covered what you needed to know. Our group had previous experience in canoe and kayak trips so that was not a concern. We were picked up next door to our hotel and dropped off at the same place which made it very convenient for us. Due to our ages, the 4 hour deluxe tour with lunch was perfect for our level of fitness as there was a stop going to the emerald cave to rest and during this stop Burton took us on a walk. On this walk Burton showed his extensive knowledge of the local plant and geology in the area. A short climb up a graveled path occurs here so if you have mobility issues you can just stay at the boats and wait for the groups return. You then get back into the boats and paddle to the Emerald Cave where once again Burton describes how the magic of the cave comes to be. On the way back we stopped for lunch at a nice beach where we ate our pre ordered lunch. My wife indicated she had a dairy allergy when she registered prior to the trip and her lunch was prepared with that in mind. After lunch we returned to the launch area, all the while Burton is pointing out interesting facts about the wildlife and plants as we passed them. I had the opportunity to see other tour guides in the area and I felt that Burton was far superior to them in that he was constantly checking on our group while delivering information to us, ensuring our safety. Our group was definitely smaller in numbers than other groups in the area, we had 8. I felt with the smaller group and the fact we all had paddling experience made it easier for Burton but none the less, he was very experienced and we all felt safe with him. After being on this excursion I would definitely recommend them due to their professional attitude and Burton’s extensive knowledge of the area!
