Reliable that should be... - Reliable that should be enough to say here. The driver was cautious considering the weather, so be aware when connecting to a flight. Driver was difficult to understand but that didn’t matter much.

Vendor is great, Viator not as much - Bus trip was great. Viator uses the wrong code for the vendor… the ticket has a barcode but the vendor needs a QR code

Would recommend - Great, easy and seamless. The clerks at YVR were extremely helpful and moved my ticket to the earlier bus.

Great Value and Service - Total lifesaver! I didn't want to drop a fortune on a private shuttle, and Skylynx was the perfect middle ground. Super easy to book online and the check-in at the airport kiosk was chill. The bus felt safe even with the snow coming down hard. If you're looking for a reliable way to get to the mountains without breaking the bank, this is it. Shoutout to our driver, Gary, for the local tips on where to grab the best coffee at the village!

Late, disorganised and all my stuff got wet. - Had return transport from YVR to Whistler. we got there but was disorganised and late. First bus was 40 minutes late departing YVR, was told by the counter the bus was boarding in 10 mins, stood outside freezing for 30mins waiting. Bags were loaded then we boarded and tickets scanned, some guy was on the wrong bus so we had to wait to get his bag out. Driver was a little fast trying to make up time and made me anxious zooming about. Return bus was 30 mins late leaving Whistler. There was no order for scanning tickets and the driver had the wrong pickup location on his device and kept telling people we were in the wrong place. My backpack went under the bus and got completely soaked with brown liquid during the journey to YVR. We arrived 45 mins late.

Buyer Beware! - Buyer Beware! Extreme caution is advised when dealing with Skylynx. The Skylynx web site home page states: “Welcome to YVR Skylynx…Just $32 One-Way.” But it turns out that price is from downtown Vancouver, not YVR. You have to go to the Prices page to find out that the cost from YVR is $55. But I was charged $120! I bought a Standard one-way trip from YVR Vancouver airport to Whistler at the airport Skylynx kiosk. I paid with my credit card and was in a hurry, so didn’t look at my receipt, just took it and left. I was shocked to find out later that I had been charged $120. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was told that I had booked with “Whistler Connection” instead of Skylynx, and they charge a higher price. The kiosk sign says Skylynx, so I did not know that I was booking through a different company and would be charged way more than was stated on the web site. I’m not sure how a company can get away with implying a low price on their home page, then show a different, higher price on their Prices page, and then charge a much higher price when you actually buy the ticket at their kiosk. They justify this by saying they use a booking platform called Ridebooker that sells tickets for various transport providers, and the high price is their affiliate’s price. Unfortunately, the customer has no way of knowing ahead of time that they will be charged 265% more for their ticket if they buy at the kiosk. Skylynx gets you to your destination comfortably and on time, and they have the right to charge whatever they want. But if they hope to nurture a loyal customer base, they should clearly and transparently inform people ahead of time what the real price will be.

Bus never showed up and they refused to refund my money - Do not use YVR Skylynx from Whistler to Vancouver airport. My family and I were waiting outside the Westin Whistler Hotel 15 minutes before arrival. When I called 15 minutes after the scheduled departure time passed, I was told the bus came, did not see me, and left. The bellman at the Westin who were also outside said they did not see the bus. The next day when I requested a refund they refused saying they checked the GPS and the bus came. All I know is I was waiting outside and never saw it. There are limited last minute options to get to YVR. Luckily I was able to get a last minute sprinter van with Whistler Connection (they were great by the way). It was only a few dollars more, they drove right into the Whistler lobby area, and loaded my luggage.
