Train Wreck and More - Brilliant trip with Ryan who was a very good guide and covered much more than I would have expected. Would recommend to anyone to go on this trip and others with Whistler Valley Tours and Charters.

Great time! - The best part was the guide, of course! My brother and I were visiting Whistler fall 2022, from LA and Denver, respectively. We needed something fun to do and didn’t have a vehicle. Ryan, the ultimate professional, took us for a lovely hike and experience. He was personable, punctual and knowledgeable.

Exploring Whistler - It was a great experience--our guide Ryan was friendly and very informative. Make sure you wear appropriate hiking shoes. At the end of the hike, you're also dropped off at Whistler Village where you can get food and drinks after a nice hike.

Fun, affordable, and scenic tour - Great experience! Ryan was an awesome source of information and guidance. Not only on this adventure, but a great source of information about Whistler in general. The hike provided a great combination of a beautiful environment, scenery, and exercise. I didn't want the tour to end. Highly recommend!!

Excellent for all ages! - I took my 9 and 7 year old boys on this hike. It is perfect for all levels. There was a lot of beautiful scenery to take in. It was a warm day so we brought a long enough water. I would recommend 2 bottles of water for each adult in the group. I don't get out as much as I used to so found myself a bit worried about running into a bear. I think I would have felt safer had I brought along some bear mace. Having said that, at this time of year, bears are generally higher up - at least that I was told by locals. The other thing I would do next time I return with my boys, is bring some paint to make our own mark on the train wreck. It was quite the site to take in and explore. This hike is must on the check list of what to do if visiting Whistler with kids.

Beautiful hike to the wrecks - Fantastic walk through forest where you will pass along cheakamus River, cross over suspension bridge and arrive at the train wrecks. It’s an easy walk, the scenery is beautiful and the history of the train wrecks and how they’ve been turned into art pieces is great. I spent an hour doing the round trip. Highly recommend.

Stunning forest and river walk, and very cool train wreck! - The tour was great and I highly recommend this hike in rain or shine! There are multiple trails that lead to the train wreck and our tour guide Ryan assessed what we were wearing and our skill level and took us on the most appropriate trail. Ryan shared his knowledge of the forest, history of the wreck, and pointed out the nicer and ever changing artwork that appears on the trains. This tour takes you through beautiful landscapes, where you’ll see and experience rivers, rocks, large trees, wildlife, and the train wreck-which is a very cool destination. Ryan also shared his knowledge of local spots, restaurants and pubs which foodies would really appreciate. I highly recommend this tour and Ryan, our amazing tour guide!
