- Minyon Falls walking track - Beginning in a dry eucalypt forest, we will walk for 2km, descending into the 40 million-year-old subtropical rainforest in the valley. After a rock scramble, arrive at a freshwater pool at the waterfall’s base. It is the perfect place to cool off with a swim as you feel the full power of the waterfall. We will return with a 2km walk back up through the eucalypt forest, finishing with a view across the valley.
- Minyon Falls Lookout - Be inspired by breathtaking views across Nightcap National Park atop the region’s most magnificent waterfall. Walking along a Creekside track, experience massive gumtrees and try to spot the native birds perching high in the canopy with their koala friends.

Uncover the untouched beauty of Byron Bay’s Hinterland. Navigate through the extensive trails of an extensive eucalypt woodland, a sanctuary to diverse local wildlife like koalas and Albert’s lyrebirds. Encounter an awe-inspiring view from the region’s most stunning waterfall, perched above an age-old rainforest. Trek through the forest for an hour to reach the natural pool at the foot of the waterfall, an excellent spot for a refreshing dip.

Rainforest Ramble - We has a wonderful day with James. Beautiful country and he took very good care of us. It was great to experience more of the region. We would recommend visitors to Byron to see how beautiful it is away from the beach.

Minyon Falls experience - A great way to finish our trip to Byron was with a peaceful walk through the rainforest. We loved the view from the bottom of the cliff and the walk down through the rainforest was an amazing experience. We recommend this tour with Earthbound Tours!

Minyon Falls Tour - Fun day out - We had a great time visiting Minyon Falls with Earthbound Tours. Great views, walks, and a refreshing swim in the pool. Definitely had a great trip, and would recommend to anyone visiting Byron Bay.

Discovering Minyon falls with local guide - Thanks James for this amazing tour, I will come back with my family next year. It was so beautiful to see this waterfall, we have learned so much about Australian bush and wildlife.

Beautiful walk in the forest - Highly recommend visiting Minyon falls with James. He was a great guide, we had extra time on our tour and he showed us another local waterfall spot on the way home - which was a nice surprise!

Must do experience - We had such a wonderful half day at minynon falls. The waterfall was incredible and the hike super enjoyable. James was was great guide. He was very friendly, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. He also took us to another little waterfall which we weren’t expecting but loved just as much. One of our best tours in Byron bay,

Loved our rainy rainforest hike - Had an amazing afternoon hiking to minyon falls. Having an experienced guide was much appreciated: He was very knowledgable about the area, and when it started raining heavily he kept an optimistic and fun vibe going in the group.

Minyon Falls Hike - We had such a great time with James walking through the amazing Byron Bay rainforrest. Seeing some incredible animals along the way such as land mullets, small snakes, and possums. Swimming under the gorgeous minyon falls was a highlight, the water was so strong! Highly recommend heading out with James and Earthbound Tours for a fun day in nature.

It is hard but we did it!!! Spectacular, amazing scenery - We gave this 4 out of 5 stars - James the guide was amazing and transport was comfy.
We are 4 friends in our 50’s and were surprised of the walk!! We will admit it was tough going but WE ACHIEVED IT AND LOVED IT!!! When you get to the falls it is spectacular and the swim is sooo refreshing!!!!
