This trip was all we heard it would be and more. Capt. Todd and Sarah are true experts at their craft. They made us feel welcome and comfortable while on board. They also shared just the right amount of information about the whales we were seeing, the area we were in, and a lot of other fun topics. And, on the tour, boy did we get our fill of whales, orcas, and more! Yes, we would recommend this tour to anyone interested in whale watching and yes, we would take this tour again when next in Gustavus.

Tod and Sarah were very engaging guides. We had a quieter experience on the water than i'm used to in California. The day was clear and calm. The few whales that were feeding were doing so in a leisurely fashion, so that if you closed your eyes you would feel almost no physical sensation...only the sound of the whales breathing. it was quite a lovely and meditative experience. There were also harbor porpoises, sea lions and jumping (sometimes skipping) salmon. All in all a beautiful day. I try to never project what I might see when whale watching because it's SO unpredictable. It can be thrilling and loud and cause you to run from one side of the boat to another. This was the most calming, centering experience I've had and so appreciate the kindness and humor of our hosts.

Todd and Sarah were superb in their knowledge of where to best find.. orcas/sra lions/humpback whales . They were great hosts and shared their knowledge of these fantastic creatures. The small group makes for a far better experience. Highly recommended.

We were disappointed to see the whales from a too big distance.
