Fantastic Sealife! - We came here on a whim as we are in a coach trip. I came here with my husband and my 7 month old daughter. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was extremely informative. We used our Merlin passes and got a map. I really liked how accessible it was so if you were disabled then you would be able to pretty much get everywhere with a wheelchair. I liked how there were little feet on the floor to help guide you to each individual section and that it was numbered. It is an indoor/outdoor sea life which made it extremely unique!
The shipwreck was down for refurbishment but they gave you an extra 30% off to come back which I thought was great. I really liked that they are constantly trying to improve and listen to feedback. Each tank I looked at was perfectly stocked and we loved seeing all the information about each of the marine life.
The penguin enclosures were also extremely fantastic, I was really impressed how close they have got it to the actual environment. (Make sure to see the fairy penguins!)
The cafe was also lovely and reasonably priced! We had a BBQ pizza and it was soooo good! the only issue we had was the baby changing. It was in a really awkward place (near the cafe) and I couldn’t quite reach, but sometimes you’ve got to make the best out of a bad situation.
Also big shout out to Lottie who I did my penguin experience with! She was fantastic and very informative. I already miss Pistachio! ❤️
Lovely place for families and even couples. You can go through quickly but take your time and enjoy the little moments!

SeaLife in Weymouth! - This aquarium is THE place to go to see all kinds of fish, from rare to common, and is a fantastic place to support sea life of every kind! It’s a beautiful park with lots to see and many interactive buttons and crawl-through tubes for kids and adults alike to enjoy. Next to it is a fun, 18-hole mini golf course, themed to pirates and full of fun facts as you play. Some of the course is a bit worn down, but doesn’t at all hinder the experience.
If you’re looking for anything fun to do in Weymouth, check this place out! While it’s a bit in the pricey range, knowing it’s going to rescue endangered animals and spread awareness makes this park worth every penny!!

Great day out for all - Fantastic. We have been to many aquariums and sea lifes, this is by far the best one yet. It’s clearly set up with kids in mind, it has outdoor and indoor fun. The sensory bit is fantastic as I have never seen that at an aquarium. Don’t get me wrong, in terms of sensory areas it’s not overly brimming with activities but it’s definitely a fantastic one for an aquarium. The staff are also very wonderful, especially in the caffe. I most definitely recommend coming here

Fun for all - Lovely trip to Sealife!
Great for young and old. See Penguins, Seals and more in a friendly environment.
You can really tell the passion of the team that work there.
Try to time your visit to include feeding sessions.
Easy to park and other activities in the immediate area.
Suggest some simple benches for the elderly to sit and take short breaks if needed

Not the greatest visit. - Our first visit and one we wouldn’t recommend. Very tired and compared to other sea life centres we have visited the environment just didn’t feel as if it was animal friendly. Cramped conditions and the grounds were poorly maintained. One to miss I’m afraid. These days for the money people expect much more.

Incorrect Souvenirs & Lack of Response - We visited Sea Life Weymouth on 3rd August and purchased souvenir photos, keyrings, and magnets for £20. When we got home to London the following day, we discovered they were incorrectly labelled “Scarborough 2024” instead of Weymouth.
I contacted Sea Life who passed the issue to the Events Photo Team. They admitted the error and promised replacements—but after providing all the requested info, we’ve heard nothing back. I’ve chased multiple times and been completely ignored.
It’s now been over six weeks with no resolution. Very poor customer service and disappointing experience after what should have been a memorable visit. I’m still waiting for the correct items and compensation.
