Excellent - This is so clever and an excellent way to spend half a day getting to see parts of the city you wouldn’t usually see. Can’t wait to get the next book.

Great day out in Brum. - We have lived and worked in Birmingham for many years but this mystery guide revealed so much that we’d never noticed. We had a fabulous morning out and met a few other people solving the mystery along the way. Have recommended to friends.

Made our day in gloomy Birmingham - An incredibly fun thing to do as a couple/group of friends to get to know what’s around the city centre. Every detail is thoroughly designed. Met three other couples on the way. Highly recommend and look forward to self-guiding through the mysteries of other cities!

Peaky Birmingham canals - Had only visited Birmingham once before and the guide had us looking up at some beautiful buildings and wandering along the canal. A great day out.

Great way to see hidden sights and learn a bit of history - I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and completed it today. We both really enjoyed it. The clues were hard enough to get you thinking but not so hard you couldn’t solve them. We saw some places in Birmingham we hadn’t been to before (though both Brummies!) and had a lovely lunch in The Old Contemptibles pub part way through the mystery. The Hall of Memory was not open (it has limited opening hours in summer and none in winter) but we were able to use the additional clues there. I definitely recommend this mystery adventure and will hopefully buy others to do for a weekend away.

Mystery Guides - the Fake Cheque Fiasco - My husband and I did this walk this morning, and thought it was wonderful. Loved the walk around the city centre, and it was such fun to look at things around that section of the city that we never knew existed (or had thought about!). Whoever put the trail together must have taken absolutely ages to put it together, it was a really wonderful morning. There was only one clue that we couldn't find and we suspect that that one was being covered up by some netting around some scaffolding on a building in one of the mentioned side streets! It really was well described! We even took the opportunity to go into St. PHilips Cathedral (which was on the walk) and see the Burne-Jones stained glass windows, which have recently been restored beautifully and which are now open to the public again (and which we have been longing to see for a while!). I would recommend this to anyone - as couples, or a group of friends. I am sure that children of a certain age would love finding the clues! Thanks for a great morning in our great city! We're hoping to do the Stratford on Avon one very soon, too!

Great Christmas Gift - This was a Christmas gift which we enjoyed early in the new year. Thoroughly enjoyable, great fun, and interesting to discover more of the history of our home city! Dedicate at least half a day to it, and make sure you have comfy shoes and nice weather as it takes place outside (a given, but it makes the experience better). Great stops at two really interesting pubs we'd never been in before. More suitable for teens and adults, as the locations and history aren't really geared towards children's interests.

Excellent! - Myself and a friend recently went to Birmingham, we had an amazing time seeing all the sights we wanted via mystery guides. We laughed, made mistakes, questioned locals who were more than happy to help. We probably would have wandered aimlessly, but this gave us structure and a purpose to our visit, would highly recommend and we are looking forward to our next mystery!

A fun afternoon adventure - We had a great time finding and solving rhe clues around the city. Really well done... not too easy, not too hard and a cosy pit stop. We managed to take our dog along to all but the final location.
