One of the best tours ever Amazing arid landscapes, Savannah wild animals and well organised - We recently returned from this trip with George as our guide. We had an amazing time. It was my 1st Mountain bike holiday but it won’t be my last. The scenery was breathtaking and immensely varied. George was brilliant, informative and we were very lucky to be travelling with them. It was so exciting seeing the animals while we were out cycling and the colour of the savannah was amazing. The accommodation was mainly good - our favourites being the campsite in West Kilimanjaro. Food as Roy mentioned was a bit disappointing as we had expected more African flavours but a minor detail. Thanks to all for making it such fun.

We had a fantastic time - What a privilege to have enjoyed this truly life affirming African adventure. Tanzania constantly took our breath away. It's advertised as a trip accessible to novice riders, but it has so much to offer riders of all levels who want to experience true savannah riding. Most of the trip was spent away from the madding crowd, especially the days spent in Sinya village, a raw, harsh and awe inspiring landscape which feels like a last frontier wilderness. Spending quality time in the natural habitat of Elephants and other African wildlife was a major highlight. We watched them for hours. It's a place where time slows down, the heat is overwhelming but manageable by riding at dawn and sundown, we loved racing the sunsets, with epic picture postcard views at every turn. Evenings spent chatting and chilling by the campfire and gazing up at the Milky Way were magical. It is a place you can truly disconnect from the pace and rigours of modern life and start to reconnect with nature again. A huge thank you to Roy, George, all the team at Kili Bike. We hope to see you on the trails again soon. Love Jackson and Carl xx

Exceeded my extremely high expectation - One of the most memorable trips I've done - challenging, inspiring and fun! If you love remote places, fascinating scenery and wildlife, and don't mind early mornings and some tough cycling, then you will love this trip. Amazing country, fabulous campsites, dramatic scenery and great wildlife. I'll absolutely be keeping my eye out for future adventures with Kili bike adventures.

Awesome bike tour through the wild wild west of Mt. Kilimanjaro...!! - I must thank Kili Bike Adventures from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful experience I had with them on the 27th Dec 2020. I had opted for the West Kilimanjaro MTB tour as a solo ride. Right from pick-up at the hotel and taking me through the entire ride and drop-off back at the hotel, the crew had been very supportive and encouraging throughout the tour. From Engarenairobi, we rode up and down through gravel roads, rocky terrain, sandy trails with scenic views of Mt. Meru & Mt. Kilimanjaro and the wild-beest, zebras, giraffes. My guide and co-rider, George, was fantastic, giving me every details of the locales, and tribal life in Kilimanjaro... After a 40Km ride through the rugged roads, it was an awesome experience having an outdoor lunch. For a vegan like me, Kili Bike had the right food stuff packed in my lunch box, and that kept me riding post lunch, for another 25 Kms of tarmac roads from Sanya Juu to Boma Ngombe. This part of the ride was even more adventurous riding up and down, passing through many small towns and me clocking the 9th fastest worldwide on this segment. I had the best ride of my life..honestly, all the credit goes to Kili Bike team. Appreciations to Roy, George & team for making my trip a memorable.. I would love to come back for another ride soon.. Cheers... Rajesh KS Somayaji.

Scenic Ride but check when animals are migrating - Well organized ride. I am a keen cyclist so I decided to try a ride even though I was the only one. Most of the initial part of the route was slightly downhill, so progress was easy, until we came to deep sand. Scenery was interesting initially, was hoping to see plenty of migrating wildlife, but recent rains permitted them to stay put. If there is no cloud cover in Feb, be prepared for the heat around midday. Got a few flats from acacia thorns, but the guide repaired them expeditiously.

Disappointing, STAY AWAY from this guy!!! - Very disappointing experience, WHATCH OUT!!! Disappointing, STAY AWAY from this guy!!! 830715519 Stay away!!! This guy (Roi) is a layer!!! Roi, Kili Bikes Adventures Manager - owns a lot of money to many local service providers and hotels, he will use your money to pay other depths and while you arrive to hotels, campsites and park entrances you will have to pay on spot since he will never pay to the services he sold you. This is a systematic way. The guy has many debts and he is using his clients' money to pay other depts. This way he simply rolling the debt to the next client Me and a friend just completed 5 days cycling package including a Safari in Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Park, sold to us by Roi. When we had to check-out from one of the hotels we stayed in, the hotel owner said that Roi never paid for our stayed and we must pay. When we arrived to the Ngorongoro crater entrance, it turned out that Roi never paid the fees so we had to pay 435 USD - even though we have paid cash to Roi the full amount in advance. We even were stopped by the police which put a barrier on the main road, we had to pay cash to the police since the money never paid to the hotel were stayed the previous night We had to file a complaint with the local police in Moshi. His office is always closed since many people are after him. Do yourself a big favor, STAY AWAY!!!
