Excellent days hiking - What a perfect days hiking with my excellent guide Richi. From the moment of pick up from the hotel to dropping back again he focused on me , ensuring my day was completely safe and so enjoyable . We hiked the 7 waterfalls safely learning so much about the local flora and all its many uses . We then went on to climb up a mountain in the afternoon called Le Pouce. Again we hiked so safely always taking the safest route . The pace was determined by me with lots of rest stops when needed . I really recommend this company for all hiking here in Mauritius and if you are fortunate to get Richi your day will be perfect

Amazing!! - Kavi was our driver for the day and he was great, he has lots of knowledge on the history of Mauritius which he provided on the journeys. Ken was our tour guide and he was fantastic. Very friendly, and very knowledgable of the area we were hiking in. The hike isn’t too challenging, however there are some steep areas on the way down, and about 5 minutes of steep climbing on the way back up, however Ken was very patient and made sure we were all safe. He’s also a great photographer and took lots of photos of us all. Overall it was a really great experience and would recommend to most people, especially if you get Kavi or Ken as your driver/ guide!! Thank you

Highly recommender - We had an amazing hike with Vikash! The waterfalls are spectacular and Vikash walked us safely through the area and is a lovely and funny guy. I would recommend this tour to everyone who doesn’t want to go with the mainstream tour and get a good quality tour

Wonderful experience - we had a great time with Ken our guide, he was very helpful and attentive, the waterfalls were spectacular especially swimming in the pool below one of the waterfalls, and watching the younger ones jumping off the rocks into the pool, we also got a free fish pedicure, you need good walking shoes as it can be slippery but Ken helped us, thank you, we would recommend this trip

Excellent time, I highly recommend! - Vikash is really great, explains well the things we discover throughout the hike and takes very beautiful photos which he then sends to us. He is nice and funny, my partner and I had a great time and we are leaving today with him for the ascent of Morne 👍

The only way to hike Tamarind Falls / 7 Cascades - We had an amazing time on this hike of Tamarind Falls / 7 Cascades. After good initial contact from Vikash via WhatsApp, our guide, Richi, picked us up for our hotel and drove us to the start of the hike. Richi was friendly, knowledgeable and amusing throughout the drive and this continued all the way through the trek. We learned a lot from him about the waterfalls, as well as the animals and plants in the surrounding forests. It had been raining the night before our hike, and it rained intermittently throughout the day, which made some of the steep hills harder to walk, but Richi was brilliant, making sure everyone in our mixed ability group was okay and that we weren’t going too fast or too slow. Jumping off the fifth waterfall into the deep freshwater pool below was a particular highlight for me, but the whole thing was brilliant from start to finish. We considered doing this hike without a guide, but I’m so glad we booked this instead. I’d have been lost as soon as we set off, as the route is not clearly labelled at all. During our hike, Richi had to help several groups of unguided hikers who had gone wrong and ended up off the safe route, so I’d say a guide is a must. Whilst we did the hike in running trainers, I would recommend some good walking boots or trainers with good grips, as it can get very slippy. Overall, I cannot recommend this tour enough and if you get Richi as you’re guide, you’ll be very lucky because he is brilliant!

Wonderful morning at 7 waterfalls - My friend and I had a wonderful morning hiking the 7 waterfalls. Vikash was extremely prompt and considerate throughout the booking and entire experience. We decided to not complete the final waterfall so arrived back earlier than expected and he was quick to come pick us Ip. Our guide was Hamish and we were so happy to have a guide. We would never have been able to find the paths nor scramble through a few of the steeper sections without him. While the elevation and length wasn’t super challenging there are some tricky parts with loose rocks and slippery so be prepared but you can go at your own pace which makes it perfect.

Half day trip to the Waterfalls - We booked a half day trip to the waterfalls with Vikash. He made the best out of it. We had a good hike, jump and swim at the waterfall and had a nice snack prepared from him. The spa treatment with the little fish was a nice experience as well. He also took some good pictures, we loved it. Hiking shoes or trekking shoes with a good grip are advised. Thanks again👌

Absolutely worth it - The hike led us to beautiful places but the difficulty of it should not be underestimated. It was quite some climbing involved and the ground was slippery in some parts. You’ll likely get quite a bit muddy and get wet feet! Unfortunately, the last and biggest waterfall was quite crowded, which was a bit of a bummer. But a nice sight still. Getting your feet “massaged” by small fishes at one of the earlier waterfalls was also a fun experience. Don’t miss it! The tour was actually not as ‘private’ as I expected, though, in our case. We booked it for my wife and me only, and our transfer to the starting point was only us. But there we had four other people waiting and two guides. The other tourists were nice and the guides very friendly so that we didn’t mind too much. But the tour description said participants would only be members of our group and that the price depends on group size. Well, we booked as a group of two and ended up doing the tour in a group of six with two guides. Despite that misunderstanding it was a tour very much worth experiencing. Recommendable.
