Terrific Washington DC 4 Day Trip - Had great 4 Day, 3 night trip to DC with family. During the trip we were able to see the monuments on the bus night tour and a water taxi tour. The tours were very informative, welcoming and enjoyable. The tour guides were helpful and very nice to all tourists. We spent a lot of time exploring the Newseum, air and space museum, National Geographic museum, American history museum, and my personal favorite, the natural history museum. The passes made our trip easier to navigate and able to see more during our stay. It was well worth the trip and I would certainly come back again another time.

Awesome Trip to DC! - The Sightseeing Pass for Washington DC was great! First we attended the Newseum which was a great deal! I highly recommend it. We also went to the Air & Space museum, American History Museum, Natural History Museum, and took a Big Bus Night Tour. The National Geographic Museum included in the Pass was a great way to spend the morning as well. The Water Taxi boat cruise was amazing, we were able to see all the sights and the skyline from our riverboat point of view. We also received a discount at Buca Di Peppo and the Italian food was an excellent way to end our trip! This pass really made our trip possible and it was so easy to use! To a local or a vacationer, this Pass is the best way to see the city!

Fantastic 3 Day Washington DC Sightseeing Pass - Went to Washington DC with my cousins after graduating college and had an amazing time with the Sightseeing Pass. On Day 1, We first went to the Newseum and saw the FBI, News Clippings from the world, and 9/11 remembrance exhibits. We later went on the Big Bus Night Tour where we saw all of DC at evening and night and got to walk up the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Our tour guide Sam and bus driver Randy were very helpful with navigating us through the sights and providing knowledgeable information about our nation’s history. We then explored on Day 2 the National Geographic museum Queens of Egypt exhibit then walked to the national mall to see the White House, Eisenhower Building, Vietnam Memorial, and Washington Monument. Day 3 we enjoyed the hour long Wharf Water Taxi Monuments Sightseeing Tour and finished our trip at the Buca di Beppo Family Style Italian Restaurant where we were able to get $45 off ($15 per person) our delicious meal. On our trip we also went to the Air & Space Museum, American History, and Natural History Museum which are free along the National mall. Definitely will use the DC Sightseeing pass the next time I go back to the federal city!

Good way to figure out what you really want to see! - The Washington DC flex pass was fine but I was given bad info from Viator. The pick up location (the tour bus no longer stops at Union Station) plus I could've upgraded to the deluxe fare for $10 more. The staff for the tour was delightful. I just wish we could have seen the front of the MLK statue from the bus without getting off.

A few good attractions but awful customer service - We really liked Mt Vernon attraction and the Hop on Hop off bus. The bus didn’t run as smoothly and efficiently as the bus in NYC. I do have a major complaint about customer service. There was an IT problem when we went to use our last attraction and it said our pass had expired or we had used all our attractions. After calling and finally speaking to someone we were told they would issue another attraction and email it when it was available. By the time we could use it, the attraction was closed. My son was flying out the next morning and couldn’t use his last attraction. We had to rent scooters that evening instead of our unlimited biking attraction so that he could see the memorials and monuments before he left. It was $120 for 4 of us. The rest of us were able to do the Potomac River Water Taxi the next day. It wasn’t one of our top choices but Unlimited Biking didn’t have bikes available cause you can’t reserve with the pass and Madam Toussauds was closed. I asked for a partial refund for my son’s pass and even suggested $20 would be reasonable. They won’t issue any refunds because the pass had been used/initiated. However, the problems were out of our control and their fault but they were unwilling to make it right. I highly recommend the NYC Go City Pass but NOT the Washington DC Sightseeing pass.

Good value for money but...... - You have to validate your pass before you use it and there is no sightseeing pass centre. Instead you have to deal with the Big Bus company who, quite frankly, don't have a clue. We wasted literally hours being sent around DC on the bus because their machines weren't working or they needed a password etc. When we finally got the card we only managed to use 3 out of the 4 that I'd paid for as we ran out of time. The card is good value for money but you have to put up with a lot of rubbish to get what you paid for.

Do Not Buy Sightseeing Flex Pass - Being that the website wasnt user friendly I needed to call. The customer service rep rose, was not very helpful and emailed me a list of "choices" to choose from. That list was not helpful but I had already paid the money for the 4 choices. The ONLY thing that actually was used was the BigBus Night tour. There were no representative at Union Station where I needed to redeem my vouchers and the Big Bus was only able to redeem the nite tour because that was with Big Bus tours. We ended up having to pay to enter Mt. Vernon (the cruise was not where the list said it was nor was the time correct) the cost of a taxi to get from 600 Water street to 3200 Mt. Vernon Men. Hwy Mt. Vernon, VA. When I tried to redeem my vouchers the receipts printed with Nationals coupon (15% off ticket), Patriot Tour, White House Gifts coupon, and not one of the above was on that list they emailed and not a choice I would have made. I have a dispute pending with our credit card company for all money accept for the nite tour.
