Great way to see the monuments and sights - Fun, great way to see sights. Good for kids. An easy bike ride, well guided. I’ve now done this twice and have enjoyed it both times.

Great way to see the... - Great way to see the monuments with kids! We brought our 10, 8 and 6 year olds with us. They had so much fun! Tour guides were very helpful and informative.

Fantastic trip! - This was the best way to view the memorials and monuments! So much better than walking through them all. The guide was very knowledgeable and we loved the small tidbits of previously unknown facts about the memorials.

Great way to see most of the DC monuments - Biking to see most of the DC monuments is the way to go. The monuments are far enough apart that walking to each one of them takes a lot of time and many steps, so seeing them by bicycle is a no-brainer. The ride is pretty flat, so it's easy. I wouldn't recommend this to kids younger than 10 unless they are experienced bicycle riders and can keep up with adults. Our tour guide was pretty good. My only criticism is that we skipped 2 important monuments (Korea War Memorial and Vietnam War Memorial) due to lack of time.

Great tour guide, good clean well maintained bikes - The area to meet is at the Wharf, so there’s a lot to do if you get there early or need food after. Check in was a snap. It’s in a bike shop with a bike shop vibe, so you’ll probably be welcomed with a “dude” not a “sir” but… it’s a bike tour! The bikes were well maintained and comfortable. Helmets were clean (nothing sticky or nasty on them) The route was almost entirely flat, (out of 7 gears I used 2) so it made the trip very casual and easy. Our guide, DAVID was great! Our tour was during the 2024 eclipse. David took the time to stop and let everyone look at the eclipse several times during the ride. Because our tour was during the eclipse, the crowds of people were substantial. David was able to politely clear the way for us. When coming up on slower parties, he’d ring his bell, announce “passing on your left, and when he had their attention, he’d say “there’s 9 more bikes coming behind me.” He got the group across all intersections safely and quickly. DAVID was also a font of DC knowledge. He provided context and commentary for each stop, encouraged questions and was patient with the couple of younger riders in the group. He also gave us a great tip about getting to the top of the old post office bell tower housed in the Waldorf Astoria hotel for a unique 360° view of the city. It was a great tour, definitely one of the highlights of our 5 day visit to DC. Don’t miss this one, it’s worth it!

Great tour with excellent historical perspective! - Great bike tour! Our guide David was excellent, knowledgable and entertaining and kept everyone safe. 2 of our bikes were solid- one a bit noisy but worked okay. Highly recommend the tour. Fantastic way to see all the major monuments at once and get a good historical perspective too! Ride is flat and easy so as long as you’re comfortable on a bike you’ll have fun.

Bike tour is awesome but not enough time to see the monuments - The experience of riding a bike through the monuments is a must do. Our tour guide was excellent. There just wasn't enough time to see the monuments. We were only allotted 5-7 minutes at most monuments which was hardly enough time to get off the bike and take a look at them. We missed one monument completely because we had to use the restroom during our 3 hour tour. I ended up having to pay other service to go back so that I could see them all. Overall, wonderful experience riding the bike. Knowledgeable tour guide. No time to actually see the monuments.

Well informed tour guide, not a particularly pleasant tour - The tour was great and the guide was very well informed! I didn’t like that we weren’t given any instructions about our bikes. Didn’t ask us where we are from or what we’d like to see unlike other tours I’ve been on. I had never used a geared bike before so ended up driving at the highest one only to realize why I was struggling at the end of the tour. The guide passed a snide remark when the chain popped instead of helping me at the start. My partner struggled as we weren’t informed before hand that the handles of the bike were non adjustable and he is quite tall (6’5”). He had a really bad back at the end of it. The tour guide was only interested in chatting with one family throughout the entire trip and he was very interactive with all the kids from the family but pretty much ignored the rest of us.

Good but lacking - We liked it because it was a great way to get all the monuments done in a day. Our tour guide could improve his canned explanation of the monuments. His personality was lacking enthusiasm.
