Fun spooky and perfect - This was the best ghost tour I’ve ever been on. Great bars great vibes and Katie K was an amazing host who had THE insights. Fun stops great bars and overall a good atmosphere kept up by Katie. She knows what she’s doing and it shows. And her pirate outfit was immaculate.

From eerie tales of restless spirits to cozy pub stops, this adventure was an absolute highlight of my trip. Decked out head to toe in 18th century regalia, we had the distinct privilege of being guided by none other than Marsha Washington, aka Jamie, whose exceptional performance truly set the tour apart from the rest. As we passed by other groups who were being led by plain-clothed storytellers rambling through memorized scripts, Jamie’s passion for the history and paranormal legends of Old Town Alexandria shone through. Her knowledgeable and engaging performance helped make the tales of ghosts, hauntings, and unsolved mysteries come to life. Jamie regaled us with several spooky stories of the city's past. Whether it was the legend of the Female Stranger or the haunted tales of the Gadsby's Tavern, each story sent shivers down my spine. Jamie had an uncanny ability to create an eerie atmosphere, making me feel as though I were truly in the presence of the supernatural. Between ghostly encounters, our guides provided us with fascinating insights into the city's rich history, including tales of its founding, Civil War history, and famous residents. It was a captivating journey through time, complete with period costumes and detailed accounts. At several points throughout the tour, we had the opportunity to warm up with a drink at one of the pubs. These stops allowed us to soak in the local atmosphere, chat with fellow adventurers, and savor delicious drinks and snacks. The experience was worth every penny. Not only did we get a thrilling tour of Old Town's haunted history, but we also enjoyed delightful libations at the local pubs. The ticket price was a bargain considering the quality and depth of the experience. Without Jamie’s incredible and passionate performance, we would have simply been wandering from bar to bar listening to a strangely dressed person ramble on and on about, “back in my day…”. That just sounds like a normal night out with my friend Joe. Trust me, it gets old fast. The Nightly spirits haunted ghost tour and pub crawl in Old Town Alexandria, VA, was an incredible adventure that exceeded my expectations. It was an expertly crafted blend of spine-tingling stories, historical insights, and local flavor. Whether you're a history buff, a ghost enthusiast, or just looking for a unique night out, I highly recommend this tour.

historical tour - We enjoyed hearing the stories of Alexandria. Very interesting! Would have liked to hear the stories while having the drinks though because otherwise it makes the evening much longer. The last stop we didn't get a drink because it was getting late. The tour ended up being a fair amount longer than advertised. Overall we enjoyed the tour and the guide did a good job in telling the stories as well.

Is it over? - We met in a very noisy hotel lobby. We walked to three locations for ghost stories, then to a bar. Then we walked a short distance to another bar. There the host spent 45 minutes, talking with one group in the tour. During that time everyone else who was in the tour group left. Was it over? It was for us.

Ghost the ghost tour - We met some nice people in our small group but there should be more pubs on the tour and they can ghost the lame ghost stories. Old town Alexandria is a cool area. I wish we had visited earlier in the evening and just explored the area on our own.
