  • iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Loudoun - Arrive at iFLY Loudoun, and get started by putting on your gear and going through a specialized training session from an expert flight instructor.

You’ll learn how to safely float in an 800-horsepower vertical wind tunnel that generates a wall-to-wall cushion of air - commonly used by professional skydivers - without having to jump from a plane. Just about anyone can fly, and no experience is necessary.

Once you’re inside the enclosed space of the flight chamber, a tunnel operator slowly increases the wind speed until you and your instructor are airborne. Feel the adrenaline rush as you float at wind speeds reaching 130 to 175 mph (209 to 282 kph). The stable wall-to-wall airflow keeps you from falling off the column of air, and your instructor is on hand at all times to guide you.

The entire indoor skydiving experience takes about 75 minutes from start to finish. Each session includes up to six people, but you fly one-on-one with your instructor for 60 seconds in the wind tunnel twice.

Unforgettable experience - After a terrible week in Texas, I decided to pay a visit a dear friend in Ashburn. I almost went on 1 hour rant about how my life sucks and everything in general. After listening to me patiently, he decided that it was no point in keeping me indoors. The next day he took here. Those 3 hours in Ifly was an inexplicable memory. It made forget everything, help in unwinding my self.

Never too late ~ ~ - ~ ~ to have this adventure. My cousin and I (80 yrs and 83 yrs, respectively) did the iFly experience at Loudon 2 days ago and it was (literally) a blast! The staff was very helpful, and our instructor, Zach Mullford, was great. Scratch one more off the 'bucket list' !

Fun time but with a HUGE PRICE. - i would rank this lower but my teenager loved it. I thought it was very over price for the amount of time you are in there. Plus I was really irk that they had so many people at our times. They ensure us would be a small group because of the virus. However there was 9 people. They tell you to wear a mask but when you get in the tank you take it off. Well your sitting with other people in the tank. They need to reduce the groups. Plus for the amount of money they are charging they need to increase the flight times. I spent well over 150.00 just for four flights. I am not sure paying the extra 28.00 or whatever it was just to go higher was worth it. You are only up there for a few seconds. My kid did love it and we are going back to spend more money in near future.

Worth trying for sure! - This was a very unique experience. I did it for my thrill seeking daughter. I’m afraid of heights lol so it was a big leap for me, pun intended. Great instructors! I felt very safe. Indoor skydiving is harder than it looks. Mostly maintaining your balance. Very different that feeling of being weightless but having control over your movement. Like I said “unique” experience. High quality staff for sure.

Adrenaline Rush - I went here with an 11 year-old and we both really enjoyed the experience. The staff is super helpful and care about your safety. If you do this you MUST pay extra to go higher as that was the highlight of the 2 flights we did. It is loud and obviously windy, but you get used to it rather quickly. I just wish the flight times were a little longer than 2 minutes as that time goes by so quickly.

“Bucket List” worthy! - Indoor skydiving here is awesome. Definitely “bucket list” worthy if you ever have wanted to jump out of an airplane. This has been in my list for years...because I thought it would help me with my fear of heights. My wife however said that doing iFly indoor skydiving would be the closest I get to skydiving due to life insurance concerns. I guess I would be more worried if she encouraged me to go ahead and go for it(actual skydiving) since we just upped my insurance coverage ;)) Awesome experience to do with the family! Bring your camera/cam corder and/or iPhone!!!

Fun Adventure - My son and I were in town and had some time to spend so we thought, what the heck, lets try indoor skydiving! This place was fantastic! The staff were friendly and professional, safety was their #1 priority and I liked everything, except the skydiving! OK, so hear me out - I'm over 50, overweight and out of shape, so the physicality of it was just a little more than I could enjoy. My son on the other hand loved it! I gave him my extra time and he had a blast. I love that I tried it, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend everyone try it!

First visit more then an hour wait, second - extra charge for helmet - First visit - my child was the only one at her time schedule and we end up waiting for an hour and a half past our time, as some one ( looked like parent was one of the staff member as he new everyone) had a party and they were more then an hour behind, looked like all people at that party went for additional times etc., NO one told us how locn we will be waiting - communication problem, why our instructor was affraid to ask them? he was just telling us - 20 more minutes, then that group will go again, and again. He could have just go there and ask to get my kid there, same as when later another instructor with her flyer was in the tunnel with us. it was Sunday evening, after two hours waiting to fly my child was hungry, unhappy, and did not wnat to fly - of cause no one will refund or will reschedule, absolutely no wrights for customers, I asked for full face helmet - instructor said that for first time all should wear open face with googles, my child said it was extremely uncomfortable, she could not breath, everyone else were wearing full face helmet. No one apologized, no one offer anything , no one ever answered to my email. Only after flight staff try to sell you new flight. As I had a second gift certificate we had to come back, hoping for better experience, tryied to book early time and called to be sure that they on time. WHen checked in and asked for full faced helmet - staff told be sure, and then asked for additional $9.99 per helmet for upgrade, NOTHING ON THIER SITE THAT TWO DIFFRENT helmets offered and that full face is upgrade, also when I showed to her that my package has " ALL EQUIPMENT INCLUDED" she still said not the full face, then she was nopt sure, then went top talk to manager, who never came to the front desk, same as they never return your emails . Then she came back and said - or it is $5 per helmet. which we had to pay , I was just tired from all their bad service and did not want to spent there more time, and ask for manager as think it would not help anyway. we saw that day everyone were flying with open face helmets. It is bad customer service, air is blowing very hard, even with closed face helmet can be difficult to breath if put had up. Just because they have no competition in this area yet, management or owners dont care about customer servise or making customers happy.Staff trained only charge extra for everything , most answers they gave me were not true, and did not made my experience better. When you pay $100 fro 3 minutes flying time - and you have to wait long time as you are nit important as someone who is in front of you - do you want to spent more - NO. I would not mind upgrade the experience - but not to pay for hidden fees - as unknown helmet fees. which is not published anywhere - and probably different everyday.
