A great tour with a special company - It was a great tour, just right to get an overview of the sites we wanted to see. Our driver Ms Gale was delightful and made everyone feel welcome. We bought 48 hour hop on hop off tickets and did this night tour first. Now we know where we’ll want to spend more time tomorrow. BUT- The real miracle came AFTER we finished the tour: We stopped at Union Station and grabbed a snack. When I sat down to look at my photos I realized I didn’t have my phone! Disaster! All of my tickets etc were in my wallet on my phone. I looked all over and did not find it. I was really starting to panic. I borrowed my friend’s phone to try to contact the Big Bus company and was texting their chat site when my daughter called on my friend’s phone and told her someone named Brian who worked for the company had found my phone on the bus and contacted her. He gave her his number and offered to leave the phone at the bus business office the next day. I called his number and he answered and when I told him I was at Union Station he offered to drive over and deliver my phone as it was “only 20 minutes away”. Well in DC traffic it of course took him 40. After 20 minutes he texted and said he was on his way and gave me an arrival time. He hand delivered the phone to me and asked for nothing in return. I insisted he take the way too little bit of cash I had as a thank you because he refused it twice. He was absolutely adorable! I was so impressed that he would go to so much trouble to help me out, all with a sweet smile. It truly made all the difference in my being able to enjoy my trip to DC. Thank you to Brian and thank you to Big Bus Tours for hiring such lovely caring people! Says a lot about the company! I will look forward to my next tour and make sure I hang on to my phone! Thank you so much Brian.
