This group tour will commence in the heart of downtown Washington, DC, at one of the district’s renowned roundabouts, Logan Circle. The journey will proceed south towards the National Mall, offering insights into L’Enfant’s city planning, commissioned by the first US President, George Washington. The first stop on the mall will be the Washington…
This group tour will commence in the heart of downtown Washington, DC, at one of the district’s renowned roundabouts, Logan Circle. The journey will proceed south towards the National Mall, offering insights into L’Enfant’s city planning, commissioned by the first US President, George Washington. The first stop on the mall will be the Washington Monument, providing a view of the Capitol building to the east, the White House to the north, and the Lincoln Memorial to the west. The tour will then continue to the Tidal Basin, home to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, and proceed to one of the newest and most impressive additions to the DC monuments, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial. Shortly after, the tour will arrive at the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, where participants can approach the grand statue of Abraham Lincoln, and then proceed alongside the Reflecting Pool back towards the White House, the final stop.
