Good experience. - Capital is worthy to see and very nice and knowledgeable tour guides. Hope to stay longer there. However, Library is so so and could be skipped.

Great tour but longer than expected - Our tour guide was wonderful. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and efficient. Unfortunately, our tour was to meet at the steps of the Supreme Court building and there was a large demonstration there. It was impossible to reach anyone from Viator or the local tour company to find out what to do. An organizer eventually showed up, but it was very stressful. Our tour started almost an hour late (and we were told to be there 1/2 hour early) so we wasted a big part of the day. There was a long wait inside the Capital building, but the tour was great. This part of the tour is run by the staff of the Capital. It was crowded but he moved us quite efficiently through. The tour lasted much longer than expected so we were left with little time to see other sites on that day. I understand the tour guide can’t control the crowds, but there needs to be communication. The meeting place should have been moved away from the demonstration area.

Ok tour - Our guide was very informative before the tour. But the location instructions to check in weren't well thought out and the overall tour seemed disorganized. Also, we didn't have a guided tour for the Library of Congress. It was average at best.

Not worth the cost. The... - Not worth the cost. The trip leader was very nice and kept us moving but still not worth the cost as you can do yourself.

Very disorganized! We waited 45 minutes in the Capitol because no one reserved the tickets - The movie! Tyrone was 5 stars. He took time to listen to our concerns. He was outstanding. Because the tickets weren’t reserved we had to wait 45 minutes to go in. Subsequently we weren’t able see most of the promised tour. Too much money for what we received!

carefully pick your guide - The trip itself was fine, covering most of the must-sees. The guide, however, didn't seem to know a whole lot about US history, except a few numbers and obvious facts possibly listed on the front page of wikipedia. And he appeared to have very limited knowledge about the states, especially in the center region, hopefully not because of discrimination or snobbism... A really unpleasant aftertaste.

90 minute wait in the rain. - We waited for our guide nearly 90 minutes past start time. 68 people sivned up for the small group tour. The first 30 went in but our group stood in the pouring rain without shelter, an explanation, apology and no refund.

Don’t waste your money - I would not recommend this tour. The tour guide did nothing and you can get the same free tour at the capitol. In fact , the free capitol tour was exactly what we did. The tour guide accompanied us as we did it. Do not waste your money
