Great guided tour from DC to Mount Vernon - Tim, our tour guide did a great job. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Only suggestion to the tour company is to offer a longer duration to allow more time at Mount Vernon. We would have liked another hour there.

Historically accountable and informative - Alexandria is beautiful. I loved that the estate is sharing the responsibility of sharing and honoring the history of all people who lived at Mt. Vernon. Historically, it’s very interesting.

Fascinating tour of George Washinton's home and grounds. Also Old Town Alexandrea - A great and informative trip to George Washinton's home. Our tour guide Joey, was very knowledgeable about the subject and was there to answer any questions. For anyone interested in history and our country, this is a trip to not miss.

Tour of Mount Vernon - The tour guide friendly, knowledgeable but not intrusive. The house was undergoing repairs, but that didn’t distract from the enjoyment of the tour. The house is relatively modest in size, but beautifully furnished its location looking the Potomac is stunning.

A custom experience on a group tour! - Perfect time of day (10 am) and centrally located pick up spot near the Capitol and Metro stop. Drivers were incredibly friendly and hospitable and our guide, Terry, was so informative and customized our trip and timing based on our interests. She offered a ton of insider info on the Mount Vernon grounds that enhanced the visit! (Oh and the online discount code didn’t hurt either!)

Don't Pass This One Up. Well worth the money and time. - Don't pass up this excursion. It's well worth the money and the time. I will definitely be coming back for a full day. The tour guides were very good.

Excellent! - Terry was great guide! I wish she could give the Mt Vernon tour, I’m sure we would have learned even more. She encouraged questions and we were able to see the Christ Church and some of Alexandria! Awesome tour!

Great tour of Mt. Vernon - Traveled with our guide, Dion, and driver, Maggie. Drove through historic Alexandria. Dion did an excellent job with pointing out historical buildings and providing history. Arrived at Mt. Vernon and Dion gave information about the grounds. We toured the Mansion. Currently, some of Mt Vernon is under renovation so you don't get the full tour. We got about 50 minutes to peruse the small museum on property, eat lunch, and go through the shops. Would have been nice to get more time for those activities. Overall, a lovely tour with a knowledgeable guide. Glad we did the tour instead of doing this trip on our own.

Take this tour! - This is a great tour, and I would recommend taking it. Our tour Director, Tim was very informative, and obviously had studied the period of time, and the man of George Washington. He imparted many anecdotes along with his lesson in history Tim was great!Riding through old town Alexandria was such a pleasure.

Nice place to visit - Mt Vernon was a very nice place to visit. We enjoyed the tour and the entire estate. The grave was interesting to see. All the various buildings wear unique and we’re glad we saw how people lived back then.
