This tour is ideal for solo travelers and small groups (1-3 people) who have a day to explore Krakow. The journey begins in Warsaw, where participants will board a first-class train to Krakow in the morning. After approximately 2.5 hours, a guide will greet them at the Krakow Glowny train station. The Walking Tour of Krakow spans 3 hours.
The tour starts at the Central Square, featuring the Sukiennice (Cloth Hall), Barbakan fortifications, and St. Mary’s Church. Participants will then stroll along Grodzka Street, one of Krakow’s oldest streets and part of the Royal Route. At the street’s end, Wawel Hill with its Royal Castle awaits, along with a visit to the Wawel Cathedral. Additionally, the tour includes a stop at the Collegium Maius, the oldest Gothic building from the 15th century at the Jagiellonian University.
After the walking tour, there will be free time for lunch and shopping for souvenirs. In the late afternoon, participants will catch a return train to Warsaw.
