Great. - The guide was absolutely great, everything was very well organized and very interesting, thank you! We were able to test things that we would have walked past without seeing them.

Great interactive yummy night food tour - Tour guide Cyndi was friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable about the history and the food. The tour was very interactive, we ate so much, we tried things even tried things outside our comfort zone which made the tour! Cyndi was very responsive to individuals choices and made great suggestions of sauces, drinks etc to make our food tour special. Thank you Cyndi

Recommended - Best made on the first day of arrival - I can only recommend this tour and it is best if you do it right on the first night so that you know directly what you might want to eat again and what you rather don't like. We had as tour guide Josi and Lina who had given us a lot of interesting information about the night market, customs and food. We have: Oyster omelette, soup dumpling, Brace pork rice, two versions of Scallion Pancake, Tea, Stinky Tofu and at the end tried something sweet delicious. In addition, we were still in the Convinience Store and received information about various snacks there.

Awesome food tour - great guide - Cornelia was a great guide, providing insightful details about Taipei and night markets that we wouldn’t have otherwise known. The food stalls on the tour covered a wide range of items. Come hungry — while I didn’t love it all, I enjoyed the group and the experience, and left full. Visiting 7-eleven was one of the highlights — learned a lot and now have some new favorites from my already fav food source in Asia.

Promising Food Tour That Missed a Few Bites - We enjoyed the tour and appreciated the chance to try a range of Taiwanese street food, but we did feel a few things could be improved to make the experience more balanced and enjoyable for all guests. Our group had five people, but at several stops the portions ordered didn’t quite match the group size. For example, when we tried the soup dumplings, only one plate of eight was served, meaning two people missed out on a second helping. Later, two ice cream pancakes were ordered and cut into four, which meant one person had to share someone else’s. Small things like this made the experience feel a bit uneven at times. There were moments where it seemed more food was ordered at certain stalls than needed, and possibly with the intention of packing up leftovers for the guide. While we understand guides often have relationships with vendors, a more thoughtful approach to portions and group fairness would really lift the experience. These were the stops on our tour: • Egg pork rice • Egg with fried oysters • Egg with fried swordfish • Egg with deep-fried scallion pancake • Pan-fried scallion pancake • Stinky tofu • Ice cream pancake with coriander and nuts • Deep-fried sweet potato balls • Herbal sweet tea (tasted like cinnamon tea) We’d recommend incorporating a few more Taiwanese favourites into the rotation, such as: • Taiwanese beef noodle soup • Steamed buns • Taiwanese fried chicken • Bubble tea (small night market stalls are great) • Stinky tofu – just a small portion is enough • Soup dumplings – ensuring everyone gets a fair share We did get to see some interesting sights along the way, but having done food tours in many parts of the world, we’d rate this one a 3 out of 5. With a few thoughtful tweaks to serving sizes and menu choices, it has the potential to be much stronger.

Very disappointing - It was Dorothy’s first tour and she was nervous and not terribly confident. There was not a great deal of information given other than her likes and dislikes. Frankly, it was very disappointing and by far the weakest tour we have ever been on.
