Please note that these times are provisional. We also track the docking schedule of passenger liners, and 7 days before the cruise ship arrives in Walvis Bay, you will receive a message with the confirmed schedule for pick-up and departure.

This 5-hour 4x4 adventure tour is tailored for clients arriving by passenger liner. Guests will be greeted and picked up at the Walvis Bay port where their cruise ship docks. Before heading to Sandwich Harbour, the tour makes a stop at the Walvis Bay Lagoon to admire the flamingos and occasionally a great white pelican, followed by a visit to the Walvis Bay Salt Refiners with its pink salt lakes. The journey then continues to the Namib Desert - Sandwich Harbour, one of Southern Africa’s most unique and rich wetlands. Nestled between the sea and dunes, the tour explores the area “if tides permit”; if not, guests can enjoy dune surfing up to various lookout points. Ample time is provided for exploration and photography. A light picnic lunch with cold beverages is served against a natural desert backdrop, followed by more dune excitement before concluding the adventure at the Kuiseb River Delta, a dry riverbed where springbok, oryx, or even ostrich can occasionally be spotted.
