Thamel - We begin our walking tour from Thamel Area as we explore the night bazaars of the region which are mostly handicrafts and souvenirs aimed at the tourist populace. Then we head towards the Ason bazaar famous for its narrow alleys and crowded streets. This is the everyday market of a lot of Nepalese living in Kathmandu. There you can find items ranging from a needle to a statue of Shiva. Then we explore the famous Chinese market of Bhirkutimandap where you can find a lots of clothes, shoes and other items at very low prices.
