Jordan desert adventure - We visited Wadi Rum as members of hiking group. Spent two nights in Bedouin camp and one day in desert. Visited location where was filmed film "The Martian", Lawrence house, the highest stone arc in Wadi Rum, several canyons and attended to sunset.

Mars - We took a six-hour jeep ride with an exceptional guide, Ibrahim and it was like traveling to Mars. Wadi Rum is a crazy place with a thousand breathtaking views and living it in a thousand different corners was really magical. Our driver then perfect in the guide and in telling us the various sites visited with a thousand anecdotes as well as very good at preparing a lunch in the Bedouin way at the end of the tour Super recommended!!!

Amazing experience in the Wadi Rum - Had an awesome time on this overnight trip in the Wadi Rum. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Tayek was our guide for the majority and he was awesome, one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. The camp was nice too and food provided was authentic. Overall this is well worth it if you want to explore the Wadi Rum with limited time!

Best experience - I enjoyed the wonderful scenery. It's a good idea to book a set as the room rates are low. The full-day Jeep tour is slow and not that hard. Please try to experience a full day Jeep tour.

The best time I had in Jordan - We had an amazing day tour with our guide Bakhir. We happen to be the only people on the tour that day, so we had a great time going at our own pace. The facilities on the camp were adequate and we had enough blankets to feel warm in our tent even in the winter. Every meal was delicious. Only the breakfast in the morning of the second day I found lacking. Only bread with different jams/cheese/hummus. Bakhir is smart, knowledgeable and funny. He offered his help whenever necessary and we appreciated. He obviously loves his job which only improved our experience. Now for the landscape itself: It must be seen to be believed. It's epic, dramatic, romantic. You need be there to understand. This is the best time I had in Jordan.

I had a fantastic tour... - I had a fantastic tour with my guide Tamir and the other tour participants. We spent the day riding a pickup truck to very sites around wadi rum and drinking copious amounts of tea. If you're in Jordan you can't skip wadi rum and this tour is a great way to see the beautiful area.

Outstanding Wadi Rum, Shocking and Scary Guide Experience with Desert Dreams - Wadi Rum itself was absolutely breathtaking, a truly outstanding natural wonder that exceeded all our expectations. However, our experience with Wadi Rum Desert Dreams was severely marred by the shocking and frankly, incredibly scary behavior of our guide, who we were told was Bakhir Al Zalabieh's cousin. From the outset, this guide made us deeply uncomfortable. He would regularly interject his religious views into conversations, making pronouncements about what we should or shouldn't do and judging our actions based on his personal beliefs. This created an uneasy atmosphere for everyone in the group. His unsettling behavior extended to physical actions. He would engage in "playful" fake punching with a group of Slovakian tourists who were with us, which came across as aggressive and inappropriate, especially given the power dynamic of him being our guide in a remote location. Beyond his conduct, the guide demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge about the area we were there to explore. He was unable to share any historical information about Wadi Rum, nor could he explain its fascinating geography or geological formation. This was a huge disappointment, as learning about the environment is a key part of such a tour. One of the most alarming aspects of our day with him was his reckless driving. He consistently drove at excessive speeds on the loose sand, taking sharp turns that had all of us clinging to our seats, genuinely fearing for our safety and praying we wouldn't be thrown from the vehicle. Being in such a remote environment without internet access, personal navigation, or alternative transport options left us feeling completely reliant on him, which amplified our fear and discomfort throughout the entire day. The only redeeming part of our Wadi Rum Desert Dreams experience came when we finally arrived at the Bedouin camp for the night. We were so incredibly relieved to be out of our guide's care. At the camp, we had the most amazing host, Muhammad. He was a complete contrast to our daytime guide – warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. Muhammad shared fascinating insights into the history of Wadi Rum, the Bedouin people, and even his own personal experiences, which truly enriched our understanding and appreciation of the area. While Wadi Rum is a must-see destination, I cannot recommend Wadi Rum Desert Dreams based on our terrifying and uncomfortable experience with Bakhir Al Zalabieh's cousin. The company needs to seriously evaluate the suitability and training of its guides to ensure the safety and comfort of their guests. Our positive evening with Muhammad at the camp was a stark reminder of what the entire experience could and should have been.
