- Lawrence’s Spring - The Spring is at the top of a short scramble - head to the Fig Tree. It is located 2 km southwest of Wadi Rum village. The spring is named in honor of Lawrence’s evocative description in The Seven Pillars of Wisdom: “in front of us a path, pale with use, zigzagged up the cliff-plinth… Among the trees, in the hidden crannies of the rock, issued strange cries, the echoes, turned into music, of the Arabs watering the camels at the springs which flowed out three hundred feet above the ground.” Although the pool itself is largely unimpressive, being a stagnant puddle, the views across the desert are truly stunning.

If you decide to spend the night, we’ll chauffeur you to our characteristic Bedouin Cave or Camp, ignite a comforting fire, serve up some Bedouin tea and whip up dinner. We’ll provide mattresses, warm blankets & pillows as desert nights can be chilly, regardless of the season. Typically, we gather each night, play Bedouin tunes and share tales of the Wadi Rum desert and Bedouin culture.

Wadi Rum Rest House
The tour starts from the Wadi Rum Parking or point on maps ( wadi rum nights ) in the Wadi Rum Village which is located about 7 km from Visitor Center.
Alternatively, you can take bus (from Petra) or taxi to the Wadi Rum Parking.

Great tour! - It was a great tour, with a great guide who made us a delicious lunch. We enjoyed it very much and I would recommend it to everyone. Also great communication from the start of the day.

Unforgetable experience and great hospitality in a not so deserted Wadi Rum desert :) - An unforgetable experience! Awwad is a very communicative young man who showed us beauties and secrets of the Wadi Rum desert. We even met his family in the camp where he cooked a traditional meal for us. We had a chance to speak with his father and meet the youngest of his brothers :) he was very patient with us (I was taking plenty of pics) and adjusted the schedule so that we could make the most of it.
It was a great pleasure and a great experience we will never forget! Thanks Awwad for great hospitality and we wish you and your family all the best!

Great day on the desert - The Wadi Rum experience with the guide Awwad was fantastic. Plenty of time to climb up in the rocky spots, stroll in the valleys & wonder in the desert. We visited all the main attraction sites, drank a lot of tea with the beduins and had insightful conversation over lunch in the middle of the day. Definietly worth to spend whole day and take your time in this rough, but beautiful landscape.
We've decided to omit the night in the desert due to early flight the next day. However I'd strongly recommend it as the starry sky is remarcable at this place. Highly recommended.

Great and unforgettable experience! - We are really satisfied with the desert tour organized by Awwad. He is a very nice and polite professional guide. He took us around the most beautiful places of the desert and also prepared a delicious, traditional dinner. The trip will remain in our memory for a long time. It was a wonderful time! Thank you!
