A private English-speaking chauffeur will greet you, holding a sign with your name. You will depart for Petra in a private, air-conditioned vehicle at 6:30 am.

Upon arrival in Petra, your guide will accompany you on an approximately 4-hour tour, leading you to the monastery. Following this, you will embark on an exploration of the hidden city. After passing through the main gate, you will begin to notice various façade shapes before entering the siq (the gorge), which is a highlight of Petra. Upon reaching the treasury (Al Khazneh), the true adventure begins. Although it may seem like the first monument in the city, as you continue, you will discover more façades along the street of façades, and then the theater, which might mark the city’s beginning. A short walk will lead you to the residential area, where remnants of houses are visible everywhere, before you proceed through the cardo (the Roman street). After exploring downtown Petra, prepare for the significant climb to the monastery.

After four hours, the tour concludes at the basin area where lunch is provided (included in the price). You will have free time to return to Petra’s main gate on your own (allow for a maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes). You will then be transported back to your hotel at the Dead Sea.
