- Djinn Blocks - This is the first stop on the guided tour after entering the main gate of Petra. Locals once believed that genies resided within these structures, which are actually tower-shaped tombs. Similar tombs can be found in Phoenicia.

- Obelisk Tomb - This is thought to be a family tomb for five individuals, as indicated by its exterior. It features four obelisks and a statue of a man at the top, representing the family’s patriarch. Although we won’t enter, as Petra is vast and it’s best to conserve energy for later sights, the interior contains five sarcophagi carved into the ground.
- Siq - A narrow canyon leading to the city of Petra. This gorge was not man-made; it originated as a tectonic fault and was later expanded by water flow. The Siq is three-quarters of a mile long and averages one hundred meters in height. Along the Siq, there are several stops to view the original pavement, water pipes, Nabataean idols, and more.
- Al-Khazneh - This is the most renowned façade in Petra. Locals believe that the Pharaoh of Egypt left his treasure here, which is why it is called Al-Khazneh, meaning Treasury. In reality, it is a Nabataean tomb dating back to the first century B.C., as indicated by its style and architecture, although there are no inscriptions to confirm this.
- Street of Facades - The facades seen here are actually tombs, specifically Hegra-type tombs. Hegra, or Mada’in Saleh, is a Nabataean city located in AlUla, Saudi Arabia today. These tombs date back to the first century A.D., as suggested by their architectural style, mainly the columns. They are family tombs, and if one has the opportunity to enter, the number of sarcophagi inside would confirm this.
