Highly Recommended Experience if Traveling to Taormina - I wanted to thank the team that manages the Krystal boat for a fantastic tour of Taormina. Every part of the excursion was perfect. Gianluca and team member kept the tour interesting, helped take photos, and even shared some facts about the places we passed. I highly recommend this experience and a big thank you to the team again.

Awesome afternoon activity - We booked this with our friends and their child. All 7 of us had an afternoon out looking at the caves, the blue cave is closed due to enironmenral issues but there were another 2 caves we visited. We pulled up in a cove to swim. Two other boats which were privately hired by tourists had dropped anchor and their anchors were trapped in the rocks. The sweet guide(14 years old with exceptional English, super funny, knowledgeable, should be running for president) asked if he could swim across and help them. He got their anchor out and got them on their way so they didn’t have to pay a fee for breaking their anchor. We had a bottle of Prosecco, iced tea for the teens, fruit and biscuits. A fantastic way to chose the caves, see Isola Bella, swim in beautiful clear water. Well priced fantastic activity to do whilst in Taormina, Naxos region.

Great was the spend a few hours - The description matches our experience. Communication was easy and all directions precise. Gianlucca was a wonderful captain; his selection of music perfect and the sites he took us to lots of fun. The swimming was refreshing and in a great spot. I highly recommend the experience.

Best Day Ever! - Excellent communication. Got to our private boat very quickly and efficient and our skipper Gianluca was incredible. He took us to all the spots and let us swim and best of all, the food was amazing! Best day ever!!!!!!!

Lovely tour - We had a great time on the boat tour! The captain and skipper were both very knowledgeable. They kept the Prosecco flowing and the snacks and fresh fruit were both delicious. We went swimming a little bit. The water was freezing but refreshing. Would definitely recommend.

A great Boat Day Experience - great boat trip for a nice 2 hour sampling of the views of Taormina from the water including 2beautiful caves. Captain was lovely, enjoyed our fruit and prosecco. Boat was roomie and clean. Sun and Shade available

66 Steps, no lift and no disclosure. - We were invited by friends to stay with them on our visit to Sicily. While the apartment looked very nice in the photos, we quickly realized it was nothing like the photos. It is on the 3rd floor, with no lift! While it is expected that old buildings do not have lifts, surely this needs to be disclosed on the apartment description as one of the first points. On all booking platforms, it should be declared if it is suitable for people with mobility issues. My stay was not pleasant from the very start, as going up and down 3 flights of stairs was very painful. The owners do not seem to take guests with mobility issues into account. The view of the water does not make up for pain and discomfort. Transporting the luggage was extremely difficult. The power. We could not turn on more than one appliance without the power going off. The switch to turn it back on was 3 floors down. Someone had to go down and up, everytime to turn the power back on. The landlord’s answer was not to have too many appliances on at once. The trouble continued, and it was decided that the toaster was the problem. This was taken away but never replaced! We were left without. This did not solve the problem. We could not turn on anything to cook, wash, clean, without the power going. We could not use the washing machine or any other appliance at the same time. I tried to use the hairdryer, and the power went out. So, had to stop using that also. The smart tv did not connect to the internet. The electrics of this property are old and need to be replaced. Instead of addressing this issue, the landlord put the blame on the guest, by saying to use only one appliance at a time, and then false accusations of water in the toaster. Again, the problem did not away when the toaster did. What was worse, the hot water was never hot. We had very quick showers, and yet for the four of us, it was 10 days of lukewarm to cold water in winter!! I have seen this comment in other reviews, so they would be aware. The shower cubicle must have clogged plumbing, and it would easily flood. (photo) The door handle at the front door came off in our hands. (photo) The apartment holds 4 people, but only lounge seating for two. The rest of us sat at the kitchen chairs. The blankets and pillows are old and thin. There was no instructions on where to dispose of the garbage. We looked for outside disposals, but nothing. No instructions at all. Normally there is hints on tips on where to go and where to eat – nothing. Couldn’t find any cereal bowls for breakfast. When the landlord was asked, the answer was, you have plates! We did not touch the mini bar, yet accusations have been made. The parking was horrendous. Our hosts were told there is parking facilities. There were not. We were told to park on the street, and it won’t be busy in winter. Well, it was an extremely busy road and no, not easy parking. As an added bonus, we could hear the traffic and the trains. Every morning at 5am a loud train would wake us up. This apartment could be much better if the correct care and maintenance was applied. Instead, it was put on the guests as blame. We will be coming to Sicily again, but not to this property.
