Long tan experience - We booked a tour with Chris at An tours . The experience was respectful , he was so knowledgeable about the area especially taking us to less touristy areas. We visited a tunnel went to the bases where the SAS established and visited the memorials. Chris provided us with flowers to remember the fallen on both sides. The tour finished in Ba Ria with an authentic Pho experience. This tour was cheaper than the one provided at the hotel . It was private and authentic. A must experience for Ausies travelling in these parts. They picked us up at Melia Ho Tram.

Must do for Kiwi and Aussie vets - My husband’s father was in the NZ Army and took part in the Vietnam war so my husband wanted to see where he was stationed. We did a day tour to Nui Dat and Long Tan with Jack. He was extremely knowledgeable about the war and Vietnam history in general. Recommend this tour to Kiwis and Aussies who have family involved in the war,

New Zealanders visiting Long Tan and Nui Dat Battlefield - We had the most wonderful day getting to know and understand more about the battle at Long Tan. Dingo Chien was a great guide and his knowledge was amazing! He told his stories of meeting NZ and Aus soldiers when he was a boy and about his dad being a captain in ARVEN. Dingo’s English was really good and he showed us many places that were special to the NZ soldiers such as the 161 artillery headquarters, SAS hill, the kindergarten built but NZ and AUS troops, and where Victor and Whisky Company were stationed. Thanks Dingo, would fully recommend!

Fantastic tour and very meaningful - Dingo Chien was a fantastic guide he was very friendly and helpful. He shared with us many interesting stories and facts about the are and the history. He very kindly held a service at each of the memorials which were very moving, he is very passionate about the Australians who served in Vietnam. My partner is a modern veteran but Dingo pointed out areas where the units he was in were present in Nui Dat. The tour was fantastic and one I think every Australian and New Zealander should do when visiting Ho Chi Minh. We had a great lunch with Dingo after the tour. Both Dingo and our Driver Three were very professional and friendly. Thank you so much for a wonderful and memorable day.

Very moving experience - Very moving experience to visit the memorial sites and to see where so many New Zealanders and Australians were based during the war. My lovely guide Mr. Daniel Chien was so respectful of those who died. He bought poppies for us to place on the memorial and played the national anthem while we had a small remembrance ceremony. Also visited a tunnel which was much easier to manage due to better ceiling height.

Great tour with knowledgeable guide on Long Tan & Nui Dat - Excellent tour with Jack who is extremely well researched and most of all made the day fun! Having a veteran in our family made the Australian experience even more special. Well done and highly recommended.

Not what I hoped for - It’s advertised as the Australian base but really not worth the money I paid. Guide kept giving me books to look at. Referring to a map. Tunnels were ok. Very disappointing to pay for a personal tour only to have him double book.
