Day trip not to miss - A very special and interesting tour for Australians. We visited the Nui Dat base and the Long Tan memorial. We saw the rubber plantations and were shown pictures of what the area was like during the war. We also visited the Long Phuoc tunnels. We went to Vung Tau for a delicious lunch. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing this part of Vietnam. A wonderful day.

Seeing history in person - This was the only must on my Dad's request for his recent visit to Vietnam & it did not disappoint. Nam provided the whole story of the battle at Long Tan passionately & sensitively. He pointed out significant landmarks. Lunch by the seaside was a great relaxing way to end the day. Nam took care of my parents, catered to their needs & the driver was courteous (and always smiling).

ANZAC Day dawn commemoration and tour - Maika Tours were excellent. For ANZAC Day 2024 they adjusted the pick up time in Ho Chi Minh City so that we could attend the 5am ANZAC Day dawn commemoration at the Long Tan Cross. The driver and guide were very professional. We received a very knowlegeable tour of Long Tan, Nui Dat and Vung Tau. I highly recommend the visit and tour.

Absolutely terrific! - The reason we have given Nam the 5 out of 5 rating was our guide was the most friendliest kindest person we could have ever met. His knowledge on history of the battlefield we visited and the answers to our questions was 10 out of 10. I have no hesitation recommending Nam to anyone and only hope that one day we meet him again. If Nam ever produces his book please let us know as we will buy it!

Long Tan - My husband and I done a full day tour to Long Tan and our guide Nam was amazing. His knowledge with regards to Australians that were there was exceptional. We went off the brakes track to places a normal tour won’t take you and things we seen with Nam will never be forgotten. I highly recommended requesting Nam when booking tours as he made our trip his friendly nature and hospitality along with knowledge is something we won’t forget. Definitely 10 out 10 !!!

Best day we have had in Vietnam - This was an amazing day. Nam the tour guide amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable and had a great understanding of what the Australian and New Zealand troops did while in country. Once I mentioned that my Father served in Vietnam he did everything he could to find relevant information to make the experience more personal. Some of the off track things we got to see that other tours wouldn’t have been able to see was awesome. He had lots of pictures to validate what he was telling us with important land marks that had to be real. O we all it was the best day we have had in Vietnam and would recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks again Van you are amazing at your job.
