My Tho - At 7:30 AM, start the adventure with a convenient pick-up from 243 De Tham Street or your hotel in central District 1. Travel in an air-conditioned bus to My Tho, taking in the picturesque countryside and lush rice fields. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest and most renowned Buddhist temple in the Mekong Delta. Continue with a boat cruise on the Mekong River, passing by floating houses and fish cages. Transfer to a small hand-rowing boat to glide through tranquil coconut-shaded canals, offering a glimpse into village life. Visit a coconut island in Ben Tre to explore a coconut candy workshop and enjoy some samples. Proceed to Unicorn Island to enjoy folk music and tropical fruits. Visit a bee farm, taste honey tea, and join a cooking class. Enjoy lunch, relax, and then transfer by private car (without a guide) to Chau Doc for an overnight stay. The evening is free for a stroll along the river, exploring local markets, tasting regional dishes, or resting at the hotel before continuing the journey the next day.
