- Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve - At 7:30 AM, tour guides will collect guests from their hotels in central District 1 and proceed to Can Gio, also known as Monkey Island. Upon arrival, visitors will explore the mangrove forest, home to over 1,000 monkeys. Guests can feed and photograph the monkeys as they interact and climb on them. The tour continues with a brief walk to the crocodile area, where locals preserve large crocodiles from the “American war.” Guests have the option to try “crocodile fishing.” A speedboat ride will then take visitors to the “Sac” guerrilla camp, located deep in the jungle. This camp, now a popular tourist site, offers a unique experience and insight into jungle life during the war.
- Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve - Afterward, lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Guests will have free time to explore a local seafood market offering a variety of fresh seafood (such as octopus, lobster, and ray) and dried foods. Additionally, visitors can swim at Can Gio Resort near the market and enjoy the beach scenery. The tour concludes with a return to Ho Chi Minh City, ending at approximately 5:00 PM.

Top banana of a day! - Dragon Sea Travel are fantastic, great communication, really helpful and everything as described.
The whole day was amazing, even when the heavens open in the afternoon it didn't put a dampener on the day.
We would thoroughly recommend this trip and booking with Dragon Sea Travel.

Monkey forest - It was a great trip and also the tour guide was fantastic and well knowledge of the Vietnamese history and culture . I highly recommend to use this tour company and enjoy the trip .

One of the better tour in town - Great trip to can gio .
Tour guide was super informative on location and its history . The old war camp was cool but the monkeys !! I was a little nervous at the start but as long as you follow a couple of simple rules outlined to you it actually super fun . Definitely a high light if my trip .
The seafood lunch was include was nice .

Monkey Island mangrove - We did get to see lots of monkeys but the whole thing felt like you were in a zoo. You walked down one Long trail and the monkeys came out when the security guards/caretakers threw peanuts at them. Basically comes off as a tourist trap. If the monkeys grab your personal belongings and they did from some of the people on the tour you then have to pay the security guards for them to retrieve your items. Basically, they throw ice cream cones at the monkeys and then the monkeys drop what they stole and then the tourists get their item back but they have to pay. Sounds like a scam. It was a blazing hot humid day which I believe everyday is and it was disappointing that the restaurant that we were taken to was outdoors with absolutely no air conditioning so we had no relief from the heat all day. Then after lunch they gave us an extra hour to basically do nothing because the restaurant was in an isolated area and everyone just had to hang around. You also have to travel on a dirty Auto ferry with no restroom with the locals. Worse yet on a round trip basis. On both trips on the ferry our bus didn't make it on the ferry so we had to wait on the other side until the bus got over. Wouldn't recommend it.
