- Simhachalam - The journey continues with a drive up to Simhachalam Hill. At the summit, there is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, worshipped here in his Varaha Narasimha form, featuring a boar’s head, a human torso, and a lion’s tail. Unlike most temples that face east, this temple faces west, symbolizing triumph.
Following the temple visit, head to Vizag’s most renowned beach, R.K. Beach. This stunning, expansive beach lies along the Bay of Bengal. Enjoy a stroll along the beach before having lunch (at your own expense) at a nearby restaurant.
- Kailasagiri - After lunch, proceed to Kailasagiri, a public park located atop a hill with a panoramic view of Visakhapatnam. The park features large statues of the Hindu God Shiva and his consort Parvati.
Drive along Beach Road, which stretches 25 miles and is the longest road along the Bay of Bengal’s coastline.
