Lots of fun, but be ready to get stuck! - This tour was great and the operators are extremely friendly and helpful! They suggested that we not link our tubes but without tying them together I was yelling across the river at my fiance lol:) The river is mostly placid with a few rapids that are lots of fun--just make sure you hold on tight!

Tubing and Fishing the Roanoke - Really great day tubing the Roanoke river with Roanoke Mountain Adventures. The trip itself was great, water was running a little slow and low but no need to walk the tubes. The tubes are great big strong ones with canvas shells. The river was beautiful, scenic bridges and overpasses and green, water was clear. Now the best part - one of my sons is an avid fisherman and asked RMA if he could bring his fishing pole. Not only did they say Yes, they challenged him to catch a fish for a tshirt! He caught a few and yes, he was awarded the shirt! These guys are really great, very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be going again, great way to make a little afternoon In Roanoke!

Lazy River (Mostly!) - The adventure was as advertised and thoroughly enjoyable. Much of the float down the river was in calm, slow moving waters, but there were several small rapids where we had to maneuver around the rocks, but fortunately never had to get out of the tube. Getting out at the end was a bit challenging, but we helped each other (there were a total of four of us floating) and managed to get off the river and back to the store without mishap. Would definitely do it again!
