All aboard - Our bus driver that was taking us to the train was very informative and had a great personality. All the passengers on the bus were also great. Made the trip very enjoyable.
Our conductor for the train was also very informative and had a great sense of humor. It was a good train ride.

Wonderful Trip - Very nice views from the train.. It was very entertaining and educational about the history of the Gold MInes. Virginia City was exciting and full of surprises.. Well worth the money

Entire tour was very informative and enjoyable. - The route used to go to and back from Virginia City was very informative especially the tour of Carson City.

Fun day trip - It was informative and very interesting to visit Virginia City. We’ve learned about the area’s history on the way and enjoyed seeing wild mustangs, livestock grazing freely and hot water springs. The driver was knowledgeable and friendly. Dress warm as it is cold at high elevations.

Boring tour guide, and Virgina City, not well kept. - Having to wait for rude people who went shopping at Target. We had to wait for them to leave. It cut into our time.

Ran out of steam. - Was not impressed. They keep showing an old steam engine but that's not what you get. We had a modern diesel electric. The trip was 15 minutes one way and 15 minutes back. Nothing thrilling. The walk through Virginia City was better. Interesting learning about that old mining town.

Not All That - The trip was informative as we started in a bus tour in South Lake Tahoe. Upon completing the train ride, we were not very impressed. Although we did enjoy our time in Viginia City and its travel back in time!

Dates Not honored - I reserved seats for this trip back in June specifically for September 21...I received email informing me if I was still interested in the ride and I paid for the trip through that email. Low and behold the email received was for alternate date and I therefore was not available on that date and tried to explain the above email solicitation to no avail and lost my funds!! Not Happy!!!
