A brilliant way to experience Vipava Valley! - My husband and I had a brilliant time with Jani, exploring the beautiful scenery of the Vipava valley on e-bikes and ending our tour at the wonderful Petric Urban winery. Jani was a fantastic guide, not only telling us lots of interesting info about the area but also answering all our questions and telling us about his life in Slovenia which we loved! The wine tasting experience was excellent and a great moment to meet others enjoying the area. 100% would recommend Wajdusna for a tour - really personal, interesting and lots of fun!! Thanks Jani!

A glorious day filled with biking, wine tasting, friendly conversation, and beautiful countryside. - This bike and wine experience was one of the greatest highlights of our trip to Italy and Slovenia. Our guide, Jani, was welcoming, kind, and incredibly empathetic to the needs of ALL our group members, especially the least skilled bikers (such as me!). We stopped to discover the history of various places on the way, expertly by Jani, and when the hills got a bit tough, he was an exceptionally helpful instructor regarding gear shifts and never let any of us fall too far behind. The tour can be customized. Jani can adjust the experience for any group from the least experienced to the most hardcore cycling enthusiasts. He really knows his way around and has so many interesting stories to tell about the local geographical and political history. Oh, and Jani also used a GoPro to take photos and videos of all of us at different points on the tour, and he shared all of these with us the same day. At the end of the biking, we stopped for an exceptional wine tasting at Petric Winery in Vipava during which we also tasted the most scrumptious, locally sourced meats and cheese, and enjoyed a rich conversation about winemaking among many other topics! What a joyful day and we hope to return soon!

Very friendly and knowledgeable - We came with friends to Vipava to ride our bikes, and we rented bikes here and they were really good. Jani was very warm and friendly, even if we didn't plan a guided tour, Jani had very good advice and knows the area very well. He even recommended us several other places to visit during our stay in Slovenia. A very pleasant meeting.

Amazing Wine Tour - The wine tour was one of my best experiences in Slovenia so far :) Jani and his family are amazing! We had a great time filled with conversations, walks, and a lot of laughs. I'm really looking forward to come again in Ajdovščina!

Perfect Day - We had the perfect tour with Jani- he tailored the cycling to our ability, which was great as we aren’t that fit! Jani himself was a great tour guide, he told us lots about the local culture and traditions, he clearly cares a lot about his local area and is a genuinely nice guy. Finishing at a winery was a great end to the tour, we tasted 6 wines and a cognac and the vineyard owner was very informative. I would 100% recommend Wajdusna to anyone looking for a day out in the Vipava area

Highly recommended! Hiking and paraglyding! - Although we were very last minute with our booking and Wajdusna was actually fully booked Jani still did everything he could and found a guide and 2 pilots to give us an experience we will not easy forget. Dean was the perfect hiking-guide, taking us on a hike over the beautiful mountain ridge with amazing views. Matias and Mika then took over. It was immediately clear that the two pilots for the paragliding were very experienced. They recognised our boundaries and knew when to be adventurous or cautious. A must-do for everyone visiting the Vipava valley!

Bike rental - Me and my girlfriend rented two mountainbikes here. The bikes were delivered to our hotel by Jani. We got two brand new mountainbikes and some useful tips to explore the vipava valley. Highly recommended!

Bike rental - Went to Vipava valley for a cycling trip with my girlfriend and rented a bike at Wajdusna. I got a totally new mountainbike definitely worth the money. Owner of the place was extremely nice and friendly. He recommended us a beautiful 35km route worth seeing. And he was available on the phone all the time. If I need a bike rental or a tour guide in Vipava valley again, I am definitely going with Wajdušna.
