La Chilangaloense Mezcaleria y Cevicheria - You will spend approx 3hrs with Jaqui our Master Chef learning about essentials of a Mexican Kitchen, the secret of the Ceviche and Guacamole, How to use different ingredients, what it takes to make mouth-watering salsa or fresh guacamole and finally prepare your own dishes . This is a hands-on experience. You will have your own cooking station!

You will learn to prepare step by step your own dishes, We will prepare it with a local beer and green and guacamole, as an appetizer we will prepare the world famous Peruvian Ceviche with fresh tuna medallion or Shrimp.
You can delight our famous cucumber, mango, strawberry and passion fruit Margaritas.
After the cooking classes you can relax in our beach you can also take a relaxing massage with our therapist.

Experience a 3 hour culinary journey with Jaqui, our resident Master Chef, as she unveils the nuances of Mexican cuisine. Learn the secrets behind the perfect Ceviche and Guacamole, discover diverse ingredients, and acquire the skills for an irresistible salsa or fresh guacamole, all while preparing your own dishes. This is a hands-on workshop where you’ll have your personal cooking station!

With guided instructions, you’ll be taught how to prepare your own dishes. Accompanied by a local brew and guacamole, you’ll start with an appetizer – a popular Peruvian Ceviche made with fresh tuna medallion or Shrimp.
Relish our renowned Margaritas infused with the refreshing flavors of cucumber, mango, strawberry, and passion fruit.
After your cooking class, unwind on our beach or opt for a soothing massage session with our resident therapist.

10/10 would do it again!!!! - Wow!!! Jacki and Sue and the rest of the staff were fantastic. Directions from the ship to restaurant Catrina were easy to follow. They even sent a time lapsed video! Once we were at restaurant Catrina they called a taxi right away to take us to the beach club. So authentic right on the water with comfy beach chairs. A table was waiting for us and our drink order was taken immediately. Mango and the strawberry margaritas were big hits! Jacki took us step by step through the process of making ceviche, guacamole and salsa. Next came our massages…right on the beach!!! They offered for an additional price to extend the massage…. I wish I would have extended as it was such a great massage! They had beach chairs and loungers for us to take into the water. It was so clean you could see your toes and the fish! Next came a surprise dance class on the beach…such fun!! We spent some time walking around the stores on the beach and bought some souvenirs to take home. There was a lady that came around taking pictures and returned with our pic on a shot glass!..:what a surprise! We returned to the restaurant and they arranged for a taxi to take us back to the port. It was the best day and couldn’t have asked for anything better! We will definitely be back.

Highlight of Our Trip!! - We were greeted by two 'pawfect' furry babies that were adorable. Chef Jaci is very passionate and got everyone excited about the experience. My husband and son do not like guacamole and ceviche, but they participated and ate it all! The beach massage was wonderful! Having a designated cabana/beach area, Andy took care of us. The group agreed this was the best part of our vacation.

Perfect day away from the cruise - The class was fun, our teacher was great, both families had a fun time and we enjoyed eating what we made. We did the massage second and it was outstanding! Totally worth it!

They are just not prepared for guests. - Unfortunately this was pretty disappointing for the group. I don’t blame them for the seaweed. That’s just a natural thing, but the lack of preparedness cleanliness and having to keep reminding them what was included in the package got very frustrating. If your gonna offer package deals then the customers shouldn’t be the ones reminding the staff. Sad because the food and drinks were excellent.
