Fantastic museum, visit it if you are nearby! - Very nice and interesting museum! We were very impressed and it was fascinating to learn about a great master chef of France. Fantastic exhibition with things made of chocolate! And after we finished the tour we were served a delicious Peach Melba by the friendly staff.

An unexpected treat! - Exploring around the lovely mediaeval town of Villeneuve-Loubet I came across this gem by pure chance. Now, I am a professional chef and the granddaddy of modern gastronomy is Escoffier and I have seen his book in many a restaurant I have worked in but I had no idea he was a Provencal lad. The museum is so charming, so Provencal with many floors to explore and is ,thus, very comprehensive. The museum has no government support so relies only on income generated by visitors, so do go and help maintain this gorgeous place. The added bonus is the lady that runs it is lovely and you get one of Escoffier's signature dishes on your way out - his Peach Melba! If you love your food like me, go and pay tribute to the master himself. Merci, Robert

Bijou amongst museums! - This museum is not on everyone's list of things to do so it is not crowded even in high season. This actualy contributes to it's charm if you are up for a nice relaxing day and exploring. It is a real gem, relatively small but with a lot of artefacts and facts about Escoffier! I will definitely recommend to take the audioquide for an extra €3, it is so worth it! The museum has extremey helpful and nice staff who after our visit treated us with a free icecream in their little patio.

Great place in the heart of Villeneuve Loubet village - My wife and I visited years ago and had so much fun we took our 2 children (8 and 10). The museum is very well done. They had a little activity for our kids that they enjoyed. Everyone loved the Chocolate room. All around great experience for everyone. Oh.. and the peach melba at the end it excellent!

Inspiring museum dedicated to the Chef of the kings and the king of the chefs - A must for a foodie. Loved the 'menu-room' with its beautiful menu-cards that offered a deep dive of the art of cooking and lifestyle of the high society back 'some' years ago. The chocolate room was amazing, especially for the younger visitor.
