History of Chocolate 🍫 - Very interesting, I learned a lot about the history of chocolate. The two girls who were supporting the visit were very available in explaining the different types of cocoa and their origins. I ended this experience drinking a hot chocolate in the store and… I really enjoyed it.

staff at the chocolate museum thursday feb6th 2023 at 14h50 - the staff member thursday feb 9th at 14h50 ( the date and time is to ensure that the right staff member is mentioned as others might be polite and kind) was rude and dismissive. when we asked about pricing, she tersely stated the price for a one museum visit then when we enquired about prices for residents as opposed to tourists said 'that is the price'. it is only afterward that we discovered that we could purchase reduced price tickets for a two or three museum visit. the staff member did not tell us. this was so disappointing since until then our time in porto where we actually live has been full of hospitable, kind people. we then went to a restaurant on the douro, in the district, the view, and experienced that wonderful hospitality. made up for the rudeness but still.
