Fine Show - The background on the port was interesting. I really liked the fine white port. The best thing though was the Fado show. The guitarists and singers were great. I really enjoyed the show.

Excellent intro to port and fado - I love port wine but knew little about how it’s made. This tour is a perfect intro to the history, varieties, and production of port. There were about 25 people on the tour but I could still hear the guide clearly. We tasted two delicious glasses of Calém port, a white and a ruby, while watching a lovely fado show. Now I have “Uma Casa Portuguesa” stuck in my head. The show ends up in the cellar’s store, which is typical of any winery or distillery, and I happily had several bottles shipped home. The prices were too good to pass up. Overall a great time solo, but better enjoyed with others. I didn’t dine at Calem’s restaurant Uva directly across from the cellars with a river view, but it’s a place I’ll explore on my next visit.

Recommended - Great tour of the port cellars, lovely tasting/atmosphere and good Fado music to accompany. Would go back if I returned to Porto

Numa casa portuguesa fica bem - It was just right amount of everything that night: - we learnt about the process of making port wine, bright modern exposition with nice explanation, containing all essential information and in the same time concise; - there were two port wines to taste, I found towny one especially good for the occasion; - Fado show lasted for an hour, it started with less joyful compositions, however by the end of the show even the audience was singing together with the artists; - besides the music, the space where the show took place, was quite cozy.

Excellent would recommend - This was an excellent experience, a short but informative tour of the port cellars led by a very knowledgeable guide, followed by 2 glasses of port which had already been described by the guide so we knew what we were drinking. The Fado singers and guitarists were excellent and overall this was a fantastic evening.

Fado show is brilliant.... - Fado show is brilliant. The tour is boring and short. The testing is only 2 portos. Would expect a bit more

Brilliant value experience - Great experience, really easy to get to, good mini-wine cellar tour and explanation of how port is made. Lovely performance by the musicians and lovely port to taste. For 20euros / person this is much better value than the Douro valley tours at 5-6 times the price and 4-5hrs stuck in a mini-van.

The fado is great - The fado show was superb- we truly enjoyed their performance. We wished it had been longer. Our guide for the 40 minute tour however repeatedly spoke of bottles of porto as “him” - as in, Him is a 10 year old bottle. We wished this part of the tour had been shorter.

Somewhat interesting - The music was very moving. The tour itself was uninspired. The tastings could have had more information provided and could have been more robust

Poor experience - The wine cellars tour was ok but not very informative - essentially was a promotion of the company's products - and the group of visitors was too large, we could hardly hear/ see the activities. The Fado show was a poor experience - The musicians were good but the the show was essentially a kindergarten with many screaming kinds, it was just undoable to enjoy the ambience of the show. Of course kids will be kids, but the service providers did not care at all to mitigate/ control the problem. We asked to change seats but the answer was 'no', in a very rude manner. Overall, a bad experience and a poorly organised tour/ event.
