- Pocas Vinhos - This experience includes a guided visit throughout our cellar with a tasting at the end of the tour. This tasting will include a selection of Port Wine and DOC Douro Table Wine. We will start with our DOC Douro Wines, first our Poças Reserve White Wine followed by our Poças Reserve Red Wine. Then we will serve the Port Wines initially with a 10 Years-Old Tawny and then with our LBV. We have also available different harmonizations that you can select to make the perfect pairing with your wine.

About Us:
Poças is currently managed by its 4th generation, standing as one of the rare Port Wine brands that have remained Portuguese-owned and operated since its inception. Although Old Tawny Ports are what Poças is traditionally known for, our DOC Douro wines have also been demonstrating impressive quality for the past three decades. Poças was honored with the “Fortified wine producer of the year 2018” award by the Portuguese magazine “Revista de Vinhos”. Furthermore, our Visitor Center, which welcomes roughly 28 000 guests annually, has earned the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Great plan! - The guided tour with Ines was incredible, she showed us the cellar and she explained us the process of making wine. It was very interesting and she was super nice. The wine tasting was also very good, the place was very cute.
It is a great plan for visiting Porto.

An education in Port and the Douro Port wine region from local family operation. I was impressed by the way they honor and value - Very informative and enjoyable experience. Pocas is a bit off the track but worth it to support a local family owned Portugeuse Port wine producer.

Amazing adventure with the fantastic guide - Amazing adventure with the fantastic guide. Everything was explained super clear and there was also a time to learn about the Porto wine production and the history of the family. Good value to money. The cellar is gorgeous itself and you can smell the wine everywhere there.

Interesting tour. - Very welcoming and interesting tour with knowledgeable staff. We wanted to go with a port producer that we hadn’t heard of before and it didn’t disappoint. Easy to understand and follow the tour. Tasting experience was fab, again great staff knowledge. Beautiful room

Pocas tour: - Very interesting tour. Very suitable for my husband who uses a walker. I would like to have seen the bottling area or a video of same.
Parking on street is free on Saturday and Sunday, this would have been useful to know in advance.
A few more nibbles to accompany tastings would have gone down well.
