Delicious experience along with equally delicious taste. - A delightful afternoon spent learning new techniques for improving my pastry making. The ambiance was inviting and the opportunity to actually participate in cooking was comfortable. Able to sit and see all the process in comfort. Our chef explained each process adding cultural and historical tidbits of interest. Highly recommended.

Fun, relaxed experience - Great experience- interactive and fun. We went as a family of four and were joined by one couple and two solo travellers. Jose made the experience fun and we all enjoyed ourselves. Everyone was involved and we learned the process- there is a great deal more to it than I first imagined. The best bit is you get to eat your work at the end, with a coffee if desired. Local wine and soft drinks are provided as you prep. The show kitchen is a professional set up, well appointed and well designed. I would recommend this as a great activity for all.

Don't miss out on this wonderful baking class! - Catia was a splendid host and baker. The baking class was very informative and we enjoyed the hands-on aspects. Literally the best pastel de natas we've ever had. It was extremely rewarding to cook them on our own.

Perfect ending to a great trip - Our instructor Jose was amazing. Our class of 8 not only got a hands on experience making the Pastel de Nata but also a history lesson of much of Porto. Jose made the class fun and allowed us to participate as much as we wanted or not wanted. The wine. The pastry, the coffee all amazing. Highly recommend.

A Hands-On Five Star Experience - This was one of the best parts of our trip to Portugal! There were only five of us in the class, so we all got plenty of time working the pastry dough and custard. José was our chef/guide and he was so warm and kind. Making the pastry was a team effort, but as the guide he led the experience and would step in if we were having trouble or if we could have burned ourselves. He was very knowledgeable not only about the pastry, but also the surrounding area. The kitchen was beautifully designed and the layout was perfect for our class. The wine, pasteles de nata, and the coffee were super delicious. It truly felt like a five star experience. I can't recommend it enough! Thank you José and the rest of the team!
