The trip takes about 2.5 hours (110 kilometers) to reach Vietnam’s first national park, which officially opened in 1960. Positioned between two limestone mountain ranges, Cuc Phuong is home to a rich ecosystem and dense forests, providing a sanctuary for some of Asia’s rarest animal and plant species.
The adventure begins with a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center, founded in 1993 by the Frankfurt Zoological Society. This non-profit organization is committed to the rehabilitation, breeding, and conservation of endangered primates, as well as the protection of their natural habitats. - Cuc Phuong National Park - After a delightful lunch, the journey continues deeper into the park. Along the way, guests will explore the Cave of Early Man, an incredible historic site dating back over 7,000 years. Then, embark on a long trek through the lush forest to uncover the park’s diverse plant and wildlife. Stops will also be made at Cho Chi, the oldest tree in the forest, and the scenic streams and waterfalls along the route.
