Preferable option to the Vienna Pass - Instead of the Vienna Pass, we got both the Sisi Ticket and the Treasures of the Habsburgs Ticket. This enables getting into these major sites (Schönbrunn Palace Grand Tour, Hofburg Palace/Sisi Museum, and Kunsthistorisches Museum) without needing timed entry reservations. If you have the Vienna Pass, you have to show up at the actual site first, and then get a timed entry which could be much later or for another day.

Great way to experience Vienna - The City Sightseeing Hop On/Off bus was very nice and provided a nice overview of Vienna. All the staff (drivers, assistants and kiosk) we very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend. We purchased this as part of the Vienna Pass (6 day) and enjoyed seeing so many of the included sites.

Vienna Pass recommended - Vienna over the Easter weekend, certainly not cheap, but you pay for the expense, including attractions and activities. Perhaps a little attention to be paid during periods of greater influx of people, the hop on and hop off buses are slow, full and maybe you are forced to move to Vienna with other methods. But certainly great solution to visit most of the fabulous attractions in Vienn. Recommended really

Great for tourists that want to visit lots of places in a short space of time - Vienna Pass is really useful for travellers wanting to visit as much of Vienna as possible. It's a bit more expensive than other tourist cards but Vienna pass gives free access to lots of places including all the main places. The hop-on, hop-off bus routes are also really practical to get around the city. I would definitely recommend this for tourists wanting to see lots in a short city break.

Great way to see the city! - We only had one day to use the pass (so many places to see). Our only issue is that one of the buses never came to one of the stops (Naschmarkt). It looked like we saw it but ultimately we ended up walking to another stop (about 10 minutes) and picking up one of the other color buses there.

Don't pay online - We bought online which caused problems when we only received confirmation of the purchase. We had to go to their headquarters. Even then we did not get paper tickets as they suddenly demanded at a bus.just messy. At Schönbrunn we went on a Panorama tour with a small train, because of the heat. The tour was only among bushes and hedges. We saw almost nothing, except a stop where it was was a nice view. No luck at all in the garden.

Beware unhelpful staff - pass starts at 8 am even you pick it up in the late afternoon - We bought the 6 day pass. I picked it up on Friday at 5:30 pm. The lady didn’t inform me that unlike other passes that start the first time you use it that theirs begins the morning of the day you activate it so picking it up Friday afternoon basically 1 whole day was lost. So paid for a 6 day pass and only got a 5 day pass. I would expect the staff to be more helpful and explain that the first day of the pass is completely useless if it is activated at 5:30pm especially since the hop on hop off buses stop at that time too.

Vienna pass is a rip off - Don't buy the Vienna Pass. It's a pure rip-off. They claim its 24 hours, but its not. It's only good until midnight rhe day of purchae and their customer service reps are rude and comdensending.

Fatal - Very bad resolution of mishaps that can arise in travel. We find the palace of Hofburg closed, for reasons beyond the control of the Viennapass organization, on which we agree completely. What they could have done was announce it so they could organize us differently, and since they didn’t announce it properly, they could have tried to resolve the mishap. Far from this, they tried to justify themselves in 1000 ways, in my opinion absurd and offered us a 10% refund that does not solve at all the fact that we did not see the inside of the castle. We answered that what we wanted was to see the castle and that we were in town for another day, I think it was as easy as having given us the entrance for the next day to the museums that we had not been able to access because of this unforeseeable cause. Finally we pay ourselves, after several emails (translates into lost vacation time) with not very constructive answers we say. We hired vienapass with the aim of making the holiday plan a little easier and a little cheaper, which I think is the goal of this type of thing, and what we achieved was quite the opposite. In short, if you're going to hire him... you'd better not come up with any unforeseen events because they're going to wash their hands completely. Lousy service.
